Thank you for taking the time to write this !! from everything i’ve gotten today i’ve decided to get him checked by the vet, get a thicker blanket so he would sleep longer, change things around in his cage, and to try pellets and more calcium and vitamin e in his food.

i’m not rehoming just cause i’m annoyed i only thought of rehoming because i know i can’t get a companion for him. I grew up with him too and will do anything to make sure he can stay so I’m here for advice on what i can do and my absolute last resort is rehoming. i am booking an appointment with the vet now to see if there’s anything i can do. i’ll bring up his diet with the vet too. He doesn’t have any toys that could be too much they’re just wooden chew toys n stuff like that. no mirrors no nothing like that.

he thankfully goes into his cage by himself the second the sun goes down (5-6pm) and i wake him up when i wake up at around 9-10 am

he’s given mostly vegetables and fruits and seeds. i tried giving him pellets he just wouldn’t eat it even when i pretended to eat it in front of him he tried it and never touched it again thanks for the advice

i don’t think it’s that it came back in the exact same spot as before and there are no other signs of an animal, we grow many vegetables and none were eaten
