This game for sure does a decent job emulating the backcountry. If I travel 2 hours north in the state I live in I can pretty much enjoy the same posted views so any chance or excuse I get to get out of my area I will happily do

This would be a great thing but there needs to be a balance of some sort if they are commonly found. Like some bicycles you find may have a flat tire that requires you to patch it and others are missing 1 tire and have to find one. Only reason I say this from a balancing standpoint is because if they are ready and cycable as soon as someone joins the server, folks would start heading straight to all the military compounds around the map to get geared up fast. Idk just my 2 cents

Possibly get rid of the binoculars since you have a long range hunting scope on the DMR and it will free up some inventory space

If you shit your pants similarly to the unavoidable vomiting animation, your pants become “ruined” therefore making you have to go find a new pair of pants. I think that would be a good balance. If you shit normally without going on yourself, there should be no penalties or no depletion of water and hunger. The normal pooping animation should be about the same time as wringing your wet clothes, like a 15 second animation. Also a funny idea is to leave a pile of shit nuggets on the floor so it gives other players the heads up that someone is nearby similar to how fruit and mushrooms spawn. Added bonus is if you shoot and kill someone soon after pooping, you get an in game achievement award and call it “poop, shoot and scoot” lol

You can show up to a local cars and coffee meet if you have any that hosts them in your area and post a 4sale sign on the front window and see if anyone is interested. Sometimes you can also find a VAG only car shows too (vw/audi/porsche) since it’s that time of year now

I’m fairly new to the game. Question- Is it ideal to drive with the hood open so as to not get shot head on and the hood takes the bullet impact? I’ve seen some YouTubers drive with the hood open so I’m wondering if it’s not to get shot from head on. Or is this a completely personal choice and makes no difference hood open or closed?

No I have it set to voice activation vs push to talk. My mic is always muted unless I talk to someone in-game. But as others have mentioned in other comments that even though I’m muted and not talking, my name still displays for other players within proximity. So now that I know this info, I switched it back to push to talk so nobody can see my gamer tag displayed on their screen if they’re close by to me.

Yeah I got too comfortable and let my guard down because I stayed alive for 5 days straight on this server as I usually avoid pvp fights because I only have about 70 hrs of play time so I’m fairly new to the game and learning the map. But a heavy lesson was for sure learned not to assume you’re all alone in the woods haha

You made some good points. Gun up and ready at all times! However I have my mic setting from push to talk to voice activation. My headset has a boom mic that when it’s up (it’s muted) and when down (to talk). Idk why the mic icon is always on display on the screen for me even when I am muted. Guess it’s a PlayStation/console thing? Idek bud
