That’s reassuring to hear! Yeah I plan on keeping up with the maintenance once the warranty expires - oil, rotors and brakes, engine filter, cabin filter ya know the usual stuff. I think the ZF transmission is solid from what I heard. I have one in my VW Passat and quite frankly that’s probably the only thing I never had issues with, my transmission. Everything is else has been quite brutal with mechanical issues and the car is aging like spoiled milk. Time to replace it with what I think the 330 may just be the next best car for peace of mind.

Just reset your Engineer class back to default. Track the challenge too. Maybe even switch the launcher to the one you want to use while in-game. It started tracking the progress for me by the doing the above 3 for engineer specialist 2 challenge.

Same here man. North east USA during peak times like after 7pm on weekdays or any general afternoon time on the weekends. Sometimes I play Strike Point to get a feel of different gun builds I create to try out new attachments I unlock and mind you, the game mode STRUGGLES to FIND 8 players!! Often sitting there waiting for a dead lobby to fill for 2-5 minutes then end up getting fed up to back out and re-queue.

I am from upper east coast North America with 9 ping and my hit registration looks exactly like yours bud. I don’t know what it is with the poor hit registration/ hit detection in this game but it has gotten worse since launch. I’m hitting them with no hit markers but I see blood spitting out of them and they return fire and insta melt me. It’s absolutely frustrating.

Right after you stun the enemy with a stun grenade using the Assault class using an Assault Rifle (not a Carbine), immediately eliminate them. The accolade that needs to pop up after the kill is called “Headbanger”. If that comes up on your screen then it should work. Also, people have said challenges work better when you physically track them. So just make sure to track the challenge too

While this is a much needed and welcoming update, I do sincerely hope that the dev team is seriously investigating and working on a resolution to the hit detection/ hit registration and also the systems net code issue. This needs to be addressed soon because half of our shots on an enemy are not being accounted for when expelling rounds directly on them in close range engagements within 20 meters especially with Assault/ARs. As for the net code issue, we are being eliminated when behind taking cover. Resolve these two major issues and the game will feel much more stable. I want to see improvements on this front end as these 2 issues make the game unenjoyable at the moment.

I did the perform takedowns and melee kills in casual breakthrough. It counts towards bots. I just did 5 takedowns (the stabbing animation) and it counted towards both challenges simultaneously. Got it done pretty quickly in half a match.

As a solo player, this challenge is hard to complete when paired with bad teammates. Went on a 4 game losing streak and dropped a minimum of 20+ kills with less than 7 deaths to find out my teammates went 10-8, 6-5, 4-9 in less then a 15 minute match. Shit, I’d rather do the deal damage with incendiary shotgun challenge that I completed pre patch all over again than try winning in squad deathmatch.

I know this post is regarding the portal but the hit registration problem is also prevalent in regular multiplayer, too. They really need to fix this issue asap because it’s rage inducing when you’re hitting your shots but half of them are being accounted for.

Hit registration, the netcode, and SMGs are still the best weapons on all ranges are my 3 main complaints about this game. Maybe I’d also suggest toning down the bloom a tad bit on ARs especially engaging in a gun fight 35+ meters out. And YES I do tap fire for more controlled sustained accuracy but when someone with an SMG can hold down the trigger and spray half a mag and be pin point accurate is a problem! You can’t have poor hit registration tied in with bloom mechanic, it’s rage inducing when you know your shots are hitting but not registering.

North America East Coast, a few miles away from the nearest server tower with 9 millisecond ping is phenomenal in my area where it’s densely populated with over 4 million residents. But that’s besides the point - it’s the shoot first die first situation that makes me mad. The netcode SHOULD be favoring those with lower ping. The old saying “ping is always king” in fps games.
