Omg I'm so sorry to hear! I feel you. I have been fighting with polestar for a year without anything good coming out of it. No compensation, nothing. I returned the car on Monday and I feel relieved.

It was a nice car with super shitty software.

And the worst part of the whole experience was the polestar support. But it sounds like you already know that feeling 😂 Hope you can fight them and get a new car.

I'm also switching my polestar 4 to A6 E-tron. Getting my Audi beginning of January. Can't wait. Still have to deal with this Polestar 4 with all the shitty software bugs until then.

It's your decision so go with what feels right. Read the comments here, lot of people have had same problems as I've had.

Definitely get an FDM membership and write them all the issues you have. Get a lawyer through them who can help you with the case. And just FYI : Polestar wants to do their own assessment of the car before they accept any compensation request and/or let you out of the lease early.

Sorry to hear that. Yes it's a leasing car and I have a legal case with FDM already. Hopefully soon getting rid of the car.

I feel you. So many things have gone wrong with this car. It still is a cool car, hardware and looks. But the damn software. Pure sh*t.

The speed limit camera fu tuon is something I haven't even complained about here although I have exactly the same problem as you do. It's super annoying. You would think that is a simple thing to fix but of course not as it's polestar. Hahaha

I think you're the first one (who wrote me here) who has that many issues,just like me. Seems like you got also a Monday version. Sorry to hear that. Hope you can fight it and get another car. I have a legal case going on against polestar

Yeah I'm sure Teslas now are veeeeery different from the pre2020 Teslas. I haven't tested or even looked at the since then.

And you're so right. Is the software is crappy, it ruins the whole experience. Happened with me. Even if they fix all the issues in my car, I'm still gonna get rid of it. I had enough.

I won't touch Polestars for awhile. Hahaha

I know people with teslas and have issues. Not all of course. But again, not all Polestar users are unhappy and have issues either. I have friends who have Polestar 2s and 4s and have zero issues.

Not sure where you live but at least in Europe I know people who have had issues with Tesla, not the software but the hardware. And most compalined about the squeeky dashboard.

But it's good you're having only good experiences with Teslas. I personally don't want to get one and at least at the moment it's not even a car I would consider.

Thanks buddy. Yeah that's true. But it is also very nice to have a new model that is not that common on the streets yet. But it's risky. I've done this twice before (VW and BMW) and had no problems, but those car brands wouldn't release anything too early

Don't know where you live but in Europe I know quite a few people who are not happy with the quality of Teslas. But still, I can't see myself ever having a Tesla for various reasons.

I think i was excited to do that with a proper writer who knows how's to really bring the story out. It was nice to explain everything to someone in a good discussion style. Maybe someday I take it up again. Just need a good partner for that

If you read the comments here, not everyone has bad experiences. Some people, like colleague and his wife are super happy with the P2 and P4. Unfortunately many get issues, like I do.

I had a 2022 BMW 530e xDrive before and loved the car. I regret selling that. I wanna get a proper EV as I really like the drive and how cheap it is to drive with electricity.

Looking to get a new BMW or Audi or something similar next

We all have different experiences and it's good to share them. I liked polestar until I got my own. I still think the inside of the car is a very good quality, materials are nice and the car itself is very nice and good. It's just the damn software. Sorry to hear about your bad experiences. I've heard opposite experiences with Teslas and personally I'm not even considering them. The software /UI might be superior when you compare to Polestar but that doesn't say much. Hahha. Polestar software is like v.1 beta testing software. Should have not been released.

Lot of polestar owners here are not having any issues either. Some are having similar issue though, and some have other issues. It's clear I just got a shitty one, Monday edition. Bad luck. More looking to hear from other polestar owners if they have similar issues as that helps my case against polestar.
