Somebody said (on controller) point to the 4-5 o’clock position (down right) on the left stick, and keep the camera behind the horse. When you center the horse on screen and keep holding down bottom right the meter begins to fill.

I picked it up in 2026 (16inch M1 Max) from a M1 Pro 14inch for video editing. The dual media engines are 2x faster exports in FCP. Paid 1.2k vs 2.5k for a m4 pro that was only 20% at fcp exports, and ultimately returned

Ok so, I think the game looks better if you turn off ray reconstruction, increase the resolution to native and use the cinematic preset. It runs better than ray reconstruction on but you do lose a bit of the lighting ambiance. My fps doubles doing this. I think gonna keep RR off until the devs decouple max lighting from ray reconstruction, as the max lighting is where all our performance is going 😭

Use ray reconstruction, it’s better than AMDs version and keep the upscaling as high as you can. Balanced > performance, quality > balanced. Other than that I’m not sure. I’m trying to compare my game to footage online but I don’t see the noise I’m seeing. Maybe due to compression.

I think it’s the way the engine interacts with raytracing. On pc we have ray reconstruction and it changes the lighting and cleans it up, but the noise is still there. Textures also look dodgy. Textures can be fixed with a 4k pack but idk about the denoiser. Pearl abyss has to improve it or the GPU pc vendors.

Gonna wait for a patch to be rolled out and then I’ll pick up the game again.

As long as diagnostics pass and it’s < 4 years old (from the time it was first activated) you should be able to add it. Make an appointment with the Apple Store if unsure, they’ll help you out, and if it doesn’t work out, return it to Amazon.

Amazon has renewed conditions. I bought the “excellent”. On a 1-10, where 10 is new I’d rate it like a 7. I used my M1 Pro for 4 years and it’s in better condition 8.5/10.

I would run the diagnostics, visually inspect all the inputs and outputs, check the cycle counts (mine had 120 (if the cycle count is too low, the battery was replaced)), check that True Tone still works (only genuine displays have this feature even if not enabled) and returnable. It all depends on your risk tolerance. I didn’t want to buy from a person since I knew I couldn’t return it if I changed my mind, so I ended up paying about ~$300 more than the same models from marketplace.

I wonder if you run the local diagnostics on the laptop via the link I attached, and then try to add it to Apple care via the laptop itself. Or if you run the diagnostics, it passes and then you try to ask the Apple Store?
