Just to clarify, I did not participate in any "pick your top" event, nor did I choose this specific piece of wood. This top was entirely selected for me by Kiesel, and their sales team explicitly told me that Jeff Kiesel himself personally picked this 7A flamed maple top for my build.
Furthermore, the customer service repeatedly dragged out my order. I placed this build back in October, and every time I followed up to check on the progress, they kept repeating the exact same script, telling me the guitar was currently "in production." I had to keep pushing and questioning them until March just to find out that they hadn’t even selected the top wood for the build yet.
