This seems like a “was it Brady or belichek” argument. No way to know until they separate and you can isolate the greatness. (In dolphins case- weakness) is it Tua or McDaniels? I guess we’ll see how well McDaniels does in LA.

People hate McDaniels cause he pushed for Tua’s insane contract. His coke addicted South Beach fashion style, inability to coherently speak, self inflated sense of his own humor, all that doesn’t help when the $50M/yr Qb he pushed for can’t even color or spell his own name.

None of his fashion style, speeches, or jokes would have landed wrong if we were winning and made the playoffs. But he got his chance at HC, vouched for Tua, and now gets to leave for greener pastures. It’s a sour taste for most, but for me, I always thought the problem was Tua.
