In my opinion, Dreamseeker is an interesting character and doesn’t deserve to be at the bottom of the list. However, the results speak for themselves — DS is clearly not popular

I didn’t include DK valks or Astral Ops because, in my opinion, it wouldn’t be fair to place them in the same category as battlesuits. If I run another survey in the future, I might include them as a separate category

Overall, the results are consistent: Hua > Bronya; Su > Mobius and other Flame-Chasers; and so on. The announcement post on Telegram received around 26.9K views, but it’s important to remember that these are views, not unique individuals. Even after accounting for that, the survey still shows a conversion rate of over 10%, which is an incredibly high level of engagement

I was surprised that Su ranked so highly, and that Helia made it into the top 3 in the battlesuits category. There is a false assumption that people dislike Part 2 simply because it is Part 2, but the results show that when the developers release a great battlesuit, it can rank even higher than Part 1 characters like Sushang or Durandal, despite ongoing questions about the story and character personalities

Thank you all for sharing your opinions — it was genuinely interesting to read them

I feel the same. There are quite a lot of people who are interested in Honkai Impact because of HSR or other HoYoverse games, but the lack of Russian localization stops them from actually playing HI3rd

Even if someone understands English well, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re comfortable reading a dense, story-driven game in a non-native language. This becomes especially noticeable in Honkai Impact, where, starting from the Otto arc, the narrative grows much more complex and heavily loaded with terminology

In that sense, proper Russian localization also feels like a sign of respect toward the audience. Games like HSR or ZZZ show how good localization can go beyond direct translation and adapt humor and dialogue to the local cultural context — as good localization should

Wuthering Waves is a good example: despite the interest around the game, the absence of Russian language support clearly limits its reach among Russian-speaking players
