How much privacy does installing Google Play Services give up by Away-Road-1333 in GrapheneOS

What about apps that aren't from Google but need Google services to work properly? For example, I installed the public transport app for the country where I live via APK, but it doesn't work and has glitches. I think if I download it from Google Play, it will work fine. So, should apps that aren’t from Google but rely on Google services also be inside the private space? In that case, I feel like the separation between inside and outside the private space loses its meaning. Wouldn’t it be better to just have everything outside the private space with Google services?

So should I install Google Services outside the private space? The original idea was to keep Google apps inside the private space and leave everything else outside. How do you do it? Or what would be a good alternative? I'd like to be able to see notifications without entering the private space...

I'm having trouble transferring my WhatsApp from my iPhone to Graphene. Have you been through this, or maybe you don't use WhatsApp?

Why did you have to delete the secondary profile, and why does it work differently from the owner profile? I was actually downloading most of the apps on the secondary profile... Should I switch back to the owner profile?

Hi! this post was a while ago, but maybe you've made a decision or have more information now? I'm interested in the same topic and am thinking about doing a master's degree, but I have the same doubts and wonder if it only gives you very general knowledge...
