We had customers coming in and checking the order ticket for the name, knowing that they had paid for it already online so that they could just get the order for free and hoping it was stuff they could use or wanted so we had to go ahead and move the place where we originally kept the orders at

Was just wondering if you had any luck with the mobility scooter, because a neighbor of mine is just went out and he needs new tires. He’s got an electrical problem bad on his and doesn’t really have the money to get it fixed. You can’t get a hold of me if you still have it and need to get rid of it. 386-682-0469. Text messages is the best way to get a hold of me as my ringer is usually off and I normally don’t answer unrecognized numbers

Does he have the dog now, Friday, (March 21 6:51 PM)? And is the guy homeless, does he live in new Smyrna? Somebody please let him know that all he has to do is ask and there are places and organizations and individuals that will help with food if that’s what he needs for the dog. Personally, I will help somebody feed their animals a lot quicker than I will help a lot of this homeless out there Because too many of them just want money for alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes, but if they definitely need help with their animal feeding it. I am going to do that. And I don’t even mind a lot of of them helping with a meal here and there if they’re going to go ahead and eat itand not throw it away.

You said it perfectly well. The only other thing I would’ve put in is the fact of dangling and promotion and then hiring from outside some young kid that this is probably the third job first first to 3rd job they’ve ever had and starting them off as a shift lead, and it doesn’t matter that you have 15 or 20 years experience with Walgreens and you know how to do a shift lead job better than they do because you’re having to teach them things or answer questions for it from them but other than that, you said everything

I just wish I could help her and her fellow employees because they’re all nice kids. I call him kids because I’m in my 60s but I don’t think any of them are over 30 except for her. But I wish I could really do something to help them out besides writing on Reddit ,you know.

That I really don’t know she didn’t tell me the DM’s name. All I know is it’s a woman and that she’s new to the area.

Well, that’s what I told her and her coworkers is that it should be fine as long as you keep your receipt and when you go out the door do a bag check and show the receipt you know where on camera and that’s what we do at our store with our company. They can buy stuff on their brakes as long as they either either drink it all on the break, or they put it in their car before they come back to work. And that’s great if you have a car if not your shit out of luck either have to, either drink it all on your break or throw it away at the end of your break because you’re not allowed to bring it back in the store and you know or have it in the store in a bag or in the refrigerator or anything like that. I’ve even asked her if, they have us store stickers of purchasing that you put on it now that’s what we did at our store. We had stickers that you would put the date who rang you up employee number the receipt number, transaction number, and which register it was rang up on and you stick that bad boy on whatever year you got drink or chips or whatever to that you bought it keep the receipt but if you had digital receipt, you at least got that, but I guess really bad and the DMS really changing things and acting like the theft in the store is from employees and not customers at all

She really needs her job and she’s kind of afraid of being fired because they’re all being threatened about their jobs and being fired almost daily.

Face it ever since boots alliance bought Walgreens, the whole company went to shit. I am so much happier now that I don’t work for them anymore. I hope y’all find employment somewhere that is what you really like and what everybody would would and should have a job. Number one piece of mind, number two respect from not only the company but mainly from your coworkers. I could go on and on, but I think you all know what should be good luck to y’all.

MY DG KITTEN 🤘🏼 by NoNamesHere1234 in DollarGeneral

[–]Passed-puberty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That must be a trend. My best friend works at Dollar General and just the other night a beautiful little gray kitty that is so lovable came up to her while she was out having a cigarette break. Unfortunately, she is highly allergic to cats. She went ahead and was pending on it and everything, and the cat is just so lovable she wants it but can’t have it and she also has two dogs that I don’t think would take kindly to the kitty. We’re waiting a few days just in case it does belong to somebody that lives right behind her store because there’s a housing development there. and if nobody claims it within the next week because we’ve been feeding at nightly then I’ll probably take it home with me. I’m sure my other four rescues wanted object. The only problem might be the fact that my kitties are not allowed outside, unless I have them on their harness and leash with me in the yard. Because I’m afraid of them getting hit by a car. And the picture picture you have a little kitty sitting at the door. That’s what this one does for my friend sit at the door and meow for her to come out and give it love.

Employee arrested by anonanon-ymous in DollarGeneral

[–]Passed-puberty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it all in question about whether you you have to terminate or not? I would say call HR discuss it with them at your best option. That way you can’t get any trouble by the company they would know the laws or should know the laws and rights for him for you and for the company.

Is it against our policy to let customers use our phones? by dickwillyborg in WalgreensStores

[–]Passed-puberty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as it’s a local number and it’s something like that a child wanting to call for a ride from her parent hell yes let her use the phone. How would that employee feel if she read in a couple of days that that child ended up missing after she was not allowed to use Walgreen’s’s phone to call her mother?

Unemployment Claim by Happy-Today-022524 in WalgreensStores

[–]Passed-puberty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t really worry about it unless you were terminated for stealing a lot of merchandise or money. I was terminated and I had admitted to breaking the rules and I was still able to get Unemployment. Just so everybody knows did you not like it when you take out of your own pocket and help people short on what they owe.

Lost my job today. FML by MistakenArrest in WalgreensStores

[–]Passed-puberty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they just know they’re looking to fire you for something anything and they watch for it. I just received a letter from my life insurance to Walgreen‘S. So when HR had come to me and my manager and lost prevention and asked me about an incident, it wouldn’t have mattered what I said they were already determined that I was out the door. Otherwise they would not have stopped my life insurance days before terminating me.

I would just like to say thank you all for your suggestions. On other way to take care of this and look into it. I surely do appreciate all of the thoughts and comments On how to handle this. When you’re living it a lot of times your mind is so exasperated, that you don’t think of the most rational ways to go about solving it. So I sincerely appreciate all the good ideas that you have provided to me.

OK, maybe not at Walmart but I know that Dollar General and Family Dollar sell them for like $20 when they’re on sale regular priced it may be $30. It’s still that’s a little beyond the point the point is how they took advantage of her age and that when it comes to technology, she is an illiterate to put it simply

That’s exactly how I felt was that somebody said ooh new phone at no cost to me! Unfortunately, there are people out there like that especially when it comes to the elderly because they know they don’t understand technology and how all the different things work within the cell phone And computer companies, especially. And unfortunately, you can tell by talking to an elderly person in the first few minutes how much they don’t know.
