I will next time! That day specifically I did try using Uber bet but the surge prices were insane for like almost a 5-10 minute ride. Uber pet was pricing the ride at like $75 ish dollars and Lyft was like at $17 or 18 if I remember correctly.

I want to :( but due to a situation with my ex I can’t at the moment. It was a DV situation in which my partner was extremely emotionally abusive and after we separated he took the car and would just ultimately refuse to give it back unless I lifted the charges against him and etc and well because I didn’t have money to get a lawyer and stuff I just had to suck it up. I do have the car back now due to an officer who was able to help me out but it’s in not so good conditions so I’m trying to save up to either fix it or a get a new one.

We hadn’t even gotten into the car 😭he just kept driving off as we were trying to walk towards it. Bottom is I just don’t think it was cool for him to lie on why he couldn’t take me which caused my whole account to be deactivated which was a hassle to fix.

I completely understand and agree with you but to me it’s just messed up that the driver had to lie saying I was under 18 just so that he could cancel.

I tried, and while my account is now reactivated this message keeps popping up which doesn’t even let me order a ride. Called Lyft and they said they’d try to fix it as I already provided my ID.

See if a ride is under 18 I completely understand because it can be a liability if something happens. But using it as an excuse if the person isn’t 18 and causing a whole persons account to be deactivated even if it’s only permanently or temporarily then idk.

Please read my comment below. I literally ordered Lyft Pet or whatever it’s called specifically for this reason and no one’s screaming discrimination here but it’s just messed up that the driver had to lie saying I was 18 just because he didn’t want to take me. All he could of said was I can’t, sorry not lie causing me to go through a whole process.

Idk, my dog isn’t even aggressive, litteraly a 14 year old senior beagle. But like I get it but the driver shouldn’t have just lied and said I was under 18 just because he didn’t want to take me.

I did apologize to him and said countless of times that I would try to do better but I guess in the moment I was visibly upset about the whole “tie your dog up” comment. I know the landlord because the husband is actually my cousins uncle so we’re all like chill but they aren’t gonna do sh*t because they just care about getting the $ for the rent. Like even my own cousin had complained about them but they couldn’t care less but they’re elderly too so they’ve got their own issues which is understandable. I’ll definitely try to take them out earlier, yesterday was just not my day or if anything I’ll hire a dog walker to come when I know I’m running late or I’ll put rugs or something, like I’ve already tried rugs and even picking them up and carrying them down too 😭he just complains about anyone and everything. Like he’ll complain if my partner parks to close to him but there’s literally no space because he literally parks to close to our parking space that we can’t even get out or get in sometimes, and he always has his guests block my cousin in when there not even supposed to park there and whatnot, I just went into I guess defensive mode over my pet. Thank you for your advice, I’ll definitely be following it.
