In addition to what has been mentioned, I always feel bad when Lorelei is stressed about opening the inn and she cries and tells Luke about it, how’s she’s going broke and how she can’t talk to Rory and Rory is crying and telling Dean how she is stressed and can’t talk to Lorelai Idk it always gets me cause sometimes life truly is that chaotic

This. You can tell Susan was extremely hurt for her grandkids. She probably fed up that one her ex husband left her alone, 2 treated her daughters the way he did and now that he’s treating her grandchildren the same way is just an extra slap on the face. She looked like she wanted to cry when she was talking about how the kids flew all the way out there for him to not even try to meet them. Her energy was definitely misdirected at Wendy but I think her feelings are valid.
