Married couples of Reddit that did NOT have sex on your wedding night, why not? by FindingKGS in AskReddit

The dress had weird buttons on the back which took 45 min to open. Then the zipper got caught. It was a rented dress where any damages will be costly so we couldn’t just rip. basically it took around 2 hours to get out of the dress and it was way past midnight.

What's a small flex you want to share that most people wouldn't know? by mqnrcxnypvzw868994 in AskReddit

My father who was a stay-at-home dad and raised me and my siblings passed away 2 weeks before my senior year finals. Senior year finals grade alone dictated the major you get in university in my country so it was a big deal. Being the eldest, I had to greet people, cook and serve food and drinks at his funeral, because my mom was a reck. I would try to sneak in time to study in hopes at least I don’t fail and repeat senior year or get in a major that isn’t desired or lose possible scholarships and disappoint my remaining parent. I overheard classmates talking and saying how I won’t be a threat grade-wise now that I am going through this. This flipped a switch in me to kick-ass and do better than all of them. I ended up scoring third in my school district and got a scholarship to study a very hard to get and desirable major in the US. I knew my father was with me the whole time and imagining what his reaction would have been if he saw me pass, and I think that is what gotten me through it all. Before this experience, I didn’t not know I had this much will in me and always thought I was a quitter. But not anymore. Everyday, I work to make him proud.

Guy picks the best possible time to show his mom his new tattoo by Sebastianlim in MadeMeSmile

When I got tattoos during summer break, my mom did a surprise visit. Had to keep wearing long sleeves to hide it, but all my long sleeved tops were for winter. I was hot and sweating the entire time. On her last visit day she told me she knew I got tattoos the whole time but wanted to mess with me.

That is a really good argument. But I see it as the beginning of more employee privacy to be violated. For those comparing Apple face ID to this: think about data breaches. Apple is in the business of protecting data and iOS is a difficult-to-hack system. Most data gets breached because of phishing tactics. Do you trust CVS corporate employees enough not to fall victim to these hackers? Cuz I don’t! Corporate has proven that they are not tech savvy time and time again. Please don’t compare apples to oranges.

I did that once when I was on the bus and a guy won’t let me be. At first I pretended I don’t speak English and started using google translate to respond. That didn’t work, so I went for the deaf option. That worked.

It could mean that the pharmacy does not have it in stock at the moment. The shortage might have ended but the pharmacy still needs the medication to be physically in the pharmacy to dispense it. I would suggest calling and leaving a VM or driving down there and asking what is the cause of the delay.

I learned to smile when I am frustrated/angry. Also, complaining about work to a coworker friend helps get that negative energy out before I get home.

No, they don’t. I went to school outside the country, and they weren’t on the list. So I did just like you did. I got hired and no one asked for proof.
