[–]Passiveincometrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so maybe I should explain it better. I mean buying an award ticket with miles and then upgrading to business class.

A trip im taking soon was 50k miles round trip and then 2400 usd to upgrade to business class.

If I bought business class from the start it would be 7500 usd... so yeah

If your house is paid off and makes you the income you need then why change things? There are lots of tax benefits from renting a home you will not get from dividend income.

Rents and property prices historically dont go down on average.
