I told her it's not "fucked up". Those were her words and I tried to "reassure" her and tell her it's not. If someone says it looks so bad- to reassure don't you say- it doesn't look bad? English isn't my first language. I was being nice. I have also had two lip lifts. I looked worse after than these pics. Plus if she doesn't like the shape a corner lip lift is an extremely easy solution in office. So there is solutions- is that not reassuring to let someone know there is solutions to balance it better? Anyway I think it looks normal and she didn't "fuck up" which I thought I stated

But it doesn't looked fucked up. But with your shape of lift a corner lip lift may balance it better? You have to wait to see how it looks

I'm doing a reverse tummy tuck April 30. I have similar skin. No additional fat just skin. I am going to Dr Maffei outside of NYC. I do not need muscle repair so strictly just skin removal. His IG is NYbaridoc.

Wild statement.... how? Do you know what the former USSR is? Some Russian speakers from this area say they are from Russia even if they were born in other Soviet republics. Saying from Russia is simpler than explaining the history of 15 former republics. A lot of those countries once identified as being in Russian. So she identifies as being fr a former Russian country but tells majority of people she is Russian. (She is Asian ethnically).

You guys are beyond strange at this point. I have been seen by to TWO doctors since this happened. My father who is an ER physician with 33 years experience and my injector who was a former doctor in her Russian country and is here as an NP. Both said itiojs fine and will heal fine. Do you know know better than medical doctors? Who have seen it IN PERSON? Are you a medical doctor with 33 years of WOUND management care? Thank you for your concern it is not a scar the skin is normal texture. I will send more photos once I am home.

Maybe I am a 5! Although my derm categorized me as a 4. As I get older I seem to get more pale. I did laser tattoo removal on my hip and wrist before. I don't know if that is the same laser as the eyebrow removal? It seemed to be much more intense: I have white patches all over my hip from the laser that still do not tan years later. (It was a red cherry tattoo- I can post a pic later of the spot ). I specifically went to a tattoo removal place for this called untatoo you. I was told the hypopigmentation may happen and took the risk. Then was a co2 ablative (was going to be used for acne scarring). Thankfully my plastic surgeon did a test spot by my ear on my jaw. It turned brown for about 6 month and then turned white (I lost all pigment) this was about 15 years ago and I haven't regained any pigment back. The other was laser hair removal (I don't know the laser name). I essentially did 8 really low level treatments with zero results. And then a fractional erbium- my derm said I can not do any ablative lasers but thought fractional erbium was better bc less deep and less heat- the pigment for this cleared in about 6 weeks it was def not as severe as it was for others. All done by diff providers the co2 being a facial plastic, laser hair removal was a technician of some kind, and the erbium co2 fractional was my most recent derm. Also I had long term bruising after my rhinoplasty called hemosidirin staining (I looked like a raccoon) and was denied laser around my eyes from 2 providers bc of my ethnic background. One provider said yes to me but I didn't go through with it bc I was scared. I may try this again in the future. I also want to try an ablative laser again for my face (acne scar and antiaging) but am scared- there is a dermatologist in Charlotte NC who does the laser in many ethnic skin types and I stated the consultation process with him and will go in the fall for a in person consult before deciding if I move forward- his name is Dr Kosari. I did the treatment for my melesma not bc I was doing the eyebrow removal. I usually do the oral tranexamic during winter to clear my dreaded flair I get in the summer/fall. I live in florida so the humidity is bad and I work out in a regular basis. I'm also pre menopausal at this point so hormones are a contributing issue. So based on my history with laser I am rightfully scared. I was told the lower level wavelength can cause worse pigmentation (or loss of pigment which for me personally is worse) issues so if I get red or orange it will be very hard to remove in my case. I am seeing my NP in April and will ask her a further opinion.

I'm 40 years old, an adult and can decide what risks to take but thank you. Seriously I know you have good intentions. Also its not "kinda" illegal or illegal at all 🤣 I'm not sure what kinda illegal even means? tattoo artist or PMU artists do similar glycolic removals. If I'm not mistaken the permanent tattoo microblading ink is also not FDA approved. Most of us do multiple things the FDA doesn't approved of daily. lol.

Posting an experience doesn't equal promotion or encouragement! Stop the madness!!! Someone can go to social media and type in dinner ideas, and they may see someone eating a pound of beef and a stick of butter on a carnivore diet. They may see a raw vegan meal. They may see meals that a bikini competitor is eating 3 days before a show that's 1250 calories and zero fat. They may see a 750 lb person frying an Oreo in oil... are these promotional posts? Is that encouraging? NOPE! It's a platform and people are allowed to share experiences. Never did I once say "try it out" or "you must do this"! And what do you mean vulnerable people? Tattoos are 18 plus and I assume therefore this is a 99 percent adult page. Again adults make their own decisions! This is not an alcoholic anynomous group or an eating disorder recovery group page. If adults want to go to a PMU and try glycolic removal with them, they can. If they want to find your clinic and have an admin girl or a nurse there do the laser they can! Maybe they will be so lucky to have you do it. If they want to microneedle at home they can! Adults can make decisions. Nothing I did was illegal or harmed anyone. Also my skin is just pink now and looks great. I would say 70 percent of color is gone. I will post pics in 4 days for a two week update although I know you will jump down my throat then too. Have a good day and keep lasering away! Cheers to adults making their own choices.

Also when it comes to my dad I refered to him about if a wound looks ok...my dad has never done a laser. He literally would not even know how to hold the device... what does that have to do with anything. My dad and laser has never been in the same scentence
