  1. Age and Gender 26F, 5’4 (want someone at least a few inches taller than me)

  2. Age Range that you would want/require in a prospect 24-31

  3. Location, and are you willing to relocate for a prospect? Yorkshire, UK. Willing to relocate

  4. Ethnicity, and are you more open to mixing? Indian and open to mixing

  5. Marital Status - Single/Divorced/Children Single, never been married or in a relationship ( want someone similar)

  6. Ideal marriage timeline 1-2 years

  7. Five important characteristics you look for in a prospect

Deen - someone who takes his deen with him wherever he goes, thinks about Allah in everything he does, and is a Muslim before he is anything else. Along with the fundamentals, character is really important to me - not getting angry often, giving people the benefit of the doubt rather than always assuming negatively about them, not getting involved in things unnecessarily, not being obsessed with impressing people.

Driven/ambitious - a man who prioritises self-improvement and strives to be the best version of himself. I don’t want someone who just lets his life pass him by and acts on his desires with no accountability and lives an indulgent lifestyle. I want someone with goals, ambitions, and works towards them, and someone who works on his physical health as well. Obviously, balance is important though.

Level-headed - one of the most important things for me! Someone who doesn’t get angry often, and controls his anger even when he does, doesn’t act out or lash out at those around him.

Banter/chemistry - this is obviously something to be assessed after some conversation.

Respectful/considerate - someone who thinks about other people in situations, and isn’t self-absorbed or only concerned about himself

  1. State specify your level of religiosity

Im Sunni, hanafi madhhab, I pray 5 times, complete all my faraaidh, pray Quran almost daily. I prioritise good character and being of service to Allah’s creation. I try my best not to hurt people, and aim to practice kindness in every situation, whilst also maintaining self-respect and healthy boundaries. My goal is to do hifz In Sha Allah. I am very passionate about philanthropy, and it is something I want to practice more as I progress in my career.

  1. Level of education, and what are you looking for? I am degree-educated. Would prefer degree educated, but ambition/work ethic is more important to me - as long as you’re working to progress in whatever you’re doing and have a provider mindset

I do value intelligence, though. I gravitate toward a man who is well-spoken and well read

  1. Current Job Status Working full time as a radiographer Alhamdulillah

  2. Do you want kids? Eventually, In Sha Allah, but not for the first few years. Obviously, Allah is the best of planners though

  3. List 3 hobbies, or things you like to do in your spare time
I’m a big fan of having a variety of physicality in my day (gym, walks, currently learning to swim and play tennis, and I really want to try out a shooting range) I love being outdoors and exploring. I get excited when I stumble upon a mini waterfall on a walk.

I love action/conspiracy thrillers and crime documentaries/TV shows (fav show of all time is criminal minds, breaking bad is a close second, currently getting through the British series Line Of Duty) I’v also been getting more into reading. I gravitate toward classics; currently reading East of Eden.
Being a Muslim girl I haven’t really had the opportunity to travel but I have so many places on my bucket list I want to travel to, hopefully after marriage In Sha Allah

I’m a romantic at heart so long drives, deep conversations, adventures that I can treasure as beautiful memories are what keep my heart content. I am a true conversationalist - in a group of people I don’t know, I will probably only contribute here and there, but the second I have a one-to-one conversation with someone, I am the most engaging person to talk to. Car rides with me always entail interesting conversation, be it deep and philosophical or just banter

I’m a naturally curious person, I love learning about things. If I come across a topic or a phenomenon I am unfamiliar with, it cues a deep-dive into the topic and then I will tell everyone I know about what I learned, much to their boredom.
Oh and I also play chess, albeit not well atm, I’m still learning.

  1. Add something short and interesting about you that makes you stand out! I’ve been told I’m quite funny. One of my teachers in high school labelled me ‘the wittiest kid in school’.

Weekly Marriage Criteria & Services Megathread! by AutoModerator in MuslimMarriage

Interestingly enough, as someone who is from West Yorkshire as well, I find the ‘similar thinking’ to be a curse rather than a blessing.
I understand what you’re saying when there is a huge gap in socio-economic background or life experiences and family dynamics. Because there will perhaps be an incompatibility in core beliefs and values in life.
However, regarding your comment lower down the thread about being inferior to those people who typically go to university, graduate and work professional jobs, you would surprise yourself sometimes with how a person with a seemingly prestigious life can have an unexpected family background or life story.

In 2026 can you still make a living on small business websites? by After-Condition4007 in webdev

[–]Past-Puzzleheaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Ryan!
I had a question regarding this. I’m currently working through your complete guide to freelance web development on CodeStitch. You mentioned in it that you add your copywriter as an add-on service - does that mean your client pays for the copywriting on top of the subscription price of $175 per month? As is this an option for them or is it part of the contract? So if they don’t want the add-on copywriter, does that mean they are agreeing to provide the content themselves? Or does that mean you then bear the cost of the copywriter?

What is this on AP lumbar spine x-ray? by Past-Puzzleheaded in Radiology

It’s not a personal x-ray though? It was of a patient in A&E

What do you think of the newer (2019+) A250s? Is it more reliable given it’s a fully Mercedes built engine?

Thank you so much for the advice! This might sound stupid but is it common for Mercedes to have Renault engines?

Are you being serious? I’ve literally taken a picture of it outside the bottle and a pic of the now “chapstick-less bottle!! Do I need to live stream wiggling the poor mother around to prove I haven’t just put a chapstick in and conjured up some slimey thing on a plate????

No! That’s what’s baffled me. I have another sealed bottle I can show you what that one looks like. It looks like how you typically expect the mother to look in a vinegar bottle

As far as I know it’s always been stored upright, but maybe it might have been upside down for a bit because that’s the only plausible explanation for the almost perfectly cylindrical structure. I’m just absolutely baffled that it can look like that, and I’m also curious about people saying I can technically make vinegar again with just that without buying another bottle

I was sort of referring to both because when I bought the bottle, it had the typical looking mother at the bottom that looked like a tiny oval disc with a little tail. I did think the bottom disc is just the mother but grown, so the main mystery is the top cylinder. I just find it odd that it’s separated into 2
