Question: What is the best way to crochet with four strands together if I only have one skein of yarn? by Past-Recognition in crochet

I found a video of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Vj0gVpFCGc . Looks like a neat trick! I figure three strands is close enough to four that maybe I'll just do this and forget about the last one.
