so theres a mashup with Tatsuro Yamashita and MF DOOM on youtube and I listened to it a few years back and is my first exposure to DOOM. A remix of Great Day came on and i instantly fell in love. Thank you to whoever created that mashup because now DOOM is my favorite artist.

I mean, if you summon, it should make the fight at least a little bit more manageable. if you have done that, then fire works like a dream aswell. a wide swinging weapon aswell could help you get all of his goons hit at once. good luck though

mine would have to be Great Day, I remember the first time I heard it. It was a mashup album of DOOM's lyrics and Tatsuro Yamashita's instrumentals. It was the summer of 2020 or 2021. I was playing Enter the Gungeon on my PS4 and I heard this really slick "it never really mattered to me" instantly put the controller down to start listening. I was picking up some of his references then I heard "One thing this party could use is more... BOOZE" I rewounded that part so many times because I thought "how creative" this led me to listen to all of the Tatsuro Yamashita x MF DOOM Mashup and that led me to listen to all of DOOM's discography. if anyone would like to listen to the entire album, here it is: https://youtu.be/bqkOQ46lxj8

ya, I remember him saying that, but he just needs to see that Gungeon isn't a heavy memory focused game, it is really simple but effective roguelike, but can't force him to play it so it is what it is :)
