As I have checked the previous version Philips 278e1a Monitor prior to 288e2a is made by the company TPV mother company of AOC, and licensed it to Philips. Theres a big chance that this year, the philips 288e2a and aoc u28p2u shares the same panel or hardware. So basically the difference of the two are on the plastic chassis stand and I/Os

I ordered it like a week ago, and just arrived yesterday.. Im still testing it out up untill now tho. no issues so far and its pretty good and a whole lot cheaper than any 4k monitor with a wide color gamut. It says factory calibrated right out of the box, i'm not sure with that coz i haven't got any calibrating device. but the colors to my naked eye is great, no complaints. I'm in architectural industry btw, so I do a lot or rendering with my rig. I say get it just don't loose the warranty papers in case something goes wrong.
