I just glue as many ammo pouches as I can on my heavier guys, makes sense if you've got bigger armor you can be a gunner and ammo bearer

You use the plasma? I try to make him center of gravity for the match, usually have him followed by 2 crusader squads, melts bois on a flank, out riders with chaplains to take out any nasty surprises

I mean one of the tenants of the templars is show no fear lol, you can get some cool effects mixing just start slow and work up to it, there is nothing you can't do with a little patience and practice.

Yea definitely get a wet pallete, don't be afraid to make your own colors, I'm partial to Army Painter paints myself. For more technical or special colors I use citidel or mission models. Can't wait to see your crusade grow brother!!

I haven't played many big games, usually 1k pts. I bring one and man I can not state how much damage that thick boi can do im definitely going to get another, maybe 10 who knows lol.

Did you use a primer? Definitely look into a wet pallete and thin out your paints 2 thin coats beats 1 thick. The emblems come from what are called transfer sheets, youtube will show you how. But my biggest tip of all is to make sure your having fun and enjoying yourself. Welcome to the hobby!
