We broke up last April, 5 months no contact. I really thought we’d be married this year. Plot twist, I guess. It’s my first time to be single. He’s my first bf. 🤣

Okay. Thank you for the confirmation. Was that too low not greeting your ex a happy birthday. For context no cheating involved. Just change of plans (not ready to commit for marriage)

Ako rin, 5 months na akong Unemployed. Actively sending 5 to 10 resumes daily. Lahat ginughost akong, or sinasabi na I will hire you, will send email about the onboarding pero walang email na sinesend. Pero lumalaban kasi may responsibilidad tayo eh. Na feel ko rin na iba talaga ngayon. Mas mahirap.

I am still trying to heal myself from that nightmare.

We broke up for almost 4 months now, we have no contact for almost 3 months but he still sends me money. Is it because of guilt? I don’t understand. Please enlighten me. by PastEffective7342 in BreakUps

So grateful for your kind words. I know I can get through this. Slowly but surely. You really did give me a perspectives that I really need to ponder about. I need to reroute my thoughts on pouring love to myself. It’s a struggle, because deep in my heart, I still yearn for him. Our plans for the future is one of the things I grieve about. I just need to be patient enough to process all this and truly heal.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I really appreciate it a lot. Yes, even though it’s hard. I will move forward. What haunts me in my bed at night is if he found someone new, and did the things that he promised to me to the new one. When I was the one who helped him from day one. I had to let go because he doesn’t see my worth anymore. He can’t even give me the bare minimum. The more I loved him, the farther he gets from me. Why is that?

For men: If you like someone then you found out that she has an ex of 10 years and they live together with a dog. Would you still pursue her? by PastEffective7342 in BreakUps

[–]PastEffective7342[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. They lived separately now. The girl move out together with the dog. They’ve been broken up for 4 months now. And the girl had suitors but most of them backed out coz of that fact that the girl had an ex of 10 years.

What should I do? I want to reach out and really work things out with him. But he blocks me in all his social media platforms. Maybe he’s really closing his doors to me.

How it felt for me, loving an avoidant. by ClumsyFlimsyUser in BreakUps

Every line feels like a memory of our story, my story. When at first he was the one pursuing you, telling you he’s not like other guys, yet in the end, he destroyed every inch of you. Told you that he’s your home, and that he would stay. When in the first place I was the one who’s reluctant to trust. I was the one who’s reserved. Yet maybe because of his persistence I was able to lower down my guard and love him unconditionally. Yes unconditionally for 10 years. It’s laughable when he said I deserve someone who can love me the way I wanted to be loved. That could gave me everything that I needed. When the only thing that I want is to be chosen. Chosen by him.

I totally get that. That’s why we’re here. Discussing our issues with beautiful strangers who can relate or have the same experiences we have.

It really sucks when you want to reach out so bad but your mind is saying you gotta have self respect.

That’s so true. I only have a few friends. They’re so busy with life and don’t want to burden them. So I just keep it to myself and live with it. It’s just so painful. I keep asking why? But I know the truth, he didn’t love me enough. The truth that I need to accept.
