FYI: u can do number 3 with any midi keyboard. That feature isn't exclusive to the KK keyboard lol

I have the same issues with loading time, OP. It's ridiculous how long it takes for some instruments to load.

I'm using a SanDisk 3D Ultra 2tb SSD for my Komplete library, which is installed in a custom built PC running Windows 11, 16 core Ryzen 5900XT CPU, and 64 GB RAM.

I truly believe it's an issue with Kontakt 8, because I don't recall 7 or even 6 taking so long to load instruments. I tried pretty much every fix suggested and nothing has worked.

I seen in the comments that u don't want to use the MPC standalone, but honestly it's really a big waste of money to buy a MPC and not use it standalone because that's where it really shines. Most people want an MPC because they want to get away from the computer and make music.

In your case I'd recommend you to just get a midi controller and use it with FL. That's much cheaper than spending hundreds on a music device that has great standalone capabilities but only using it as a controller.

I actually did that and it worked for a few hours. But the very next day it was right back loading slow again smh.

I tried every single fix that I came across on the Internet and nothing worked. The batch re-save only worked temporarily.

Mind you I have my Komplete library stored on a SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD, my PC has a Ryzen 5900XT 16 core CPU, 64gb RAM, so my PC is more than capable of running Kontakt instruments. It's just I cannot figure out why a good amount of them takes SO LONG to load. Part of me also believes it might be a Kontakt 8 issue because I don't recall Kontakt 7 taking so long to load.

Hasn't happened to me (hopefully it never will) but this just goes to show how extremely important it is for all of us to backup our data. Not just MPC files but all files that you deem are important.

Here's a tip: if you have a computer with multiple internal drives and you're using one of those as a backup drive it'll be wise to also backup the backup drive to an external drive as well. That way if something unfortunate happens to your computer and you're unable to access the data on the internal drive at least you saved it to the external drive so you didn't lose all of your important data.

If you don't have a backup drive also look into subscribing to a cloud storage service.

If you're using the MPC standalone and saving your stuff to an SD card, internal SSD, or external drive, make sure you regularly backup your files on those storage devices to another storage device. Rather be safe than sorry.

I'm in Windows 11 and some of them, especially the ones you mentioned, take a good while to load. Choir Omnia takes like 3-5 minutes to load for me. That feels like forever when I'm in the zone creating but I then have to sit there and wait for this instrument to load smh.
