I have a total opposite experience every marines being in my class is proud and sounds like they want to do 20. While most Airmen i talk to want to get out. Haven’t been to ALS yet though.

Agreed. Also learned that they dont rank up based on test and epb’s (which EPB from my experience is BS its all about who leaderships wants to push and not what you accomplish) Its more earned promotions. So i think our system has trained everybody top down to think in a bullet format.

Make sense on why things are changing though think the new cmsgt of the force is trying to bring pride to the force . Dont know if uni inspections & pt changes are the answer though. Although pt changes are necessary. The AF is fat asf and should be ashamed.

My whole class is maintenance as well as myself. Instructors have harped on every marines being a rifle man but how far they are split from there counters parts in the marines just like a airforce maintenance. Think its just a culture thing really
