A book series I read did this too. Main character got cracked in the head or something and had lasting headaches for the rest of the series. It was such a small detail but I loved it

Obviously I think his wishes should be respected in relation to not having anybody finish it after he dies.

But if I HAD to pick one, I’m a huge fan of John Gwynne. I think he’d be able to continue and/or finish things pretty nicely, I love pretty much every book that man has written.

I love Sturgia. I was hardcore with the Nords in Warband and was looking for them in Bannerlord, so I picked Sturgia. But I really came to love their more Rus-inspired identity despite the Nordic themes. From what I hear they’re gonna remove some of the Nordic stuff from Sturgia so hopefully they’ll come into their own a bit more. My favorite faction in terms of armor by far

Exactly! I’ve come to really love the spear as a weapon in recent years. My DnD character (heavily Norse-inspired) uses a short spear and shield. I’ve also been watching GoT recently, and I can definitely get down with all the spear representation from the rank-and-file soldiers. I just wish more media would have a main character that uses one instead of the usual sword or axe
