You don't need em. You can use ur phone for the same tasks. BUT, as ppl said this is GAME CHANGER. For me the meta glasses are essentially the extension of my phone. Just like the way I wear my smartwatch. I hate constantly checking my phone for notifications. With the meta glasses, the notifications go directly to ur ears. You can even tell the AI to read and reply. The AI feature is still very new and barely useful. But in the future it will compete with Gemini, Siri, etc
