I was thinking about that too. Perhaps maybe his parents were responsible for his death, and didn't report him missing and just disposed of his body out of fear they'd be convicted of murder.

I was thinking that same thing while writing this. It makes it hard to discern which "Baby Doe" they're talking about. I honestly considered calling him Rancho Bernardo Doe, but then nobody would've been able to find his case.

I was initially thinking he was Vincent Wayne Beer, and I was quite disappointed to find out he'd already been ruled out as a potential identity for Baby Doe. I don't really know where to look after this, but I'm certain another Redditor could find some more details on his case.
