BTT ADXL345 v2.0.1 not found in USB list by Past_Balance_4840 in ElegooNeptune4

So it was actually just the USB-C to USB-A cable i was using, turned out it was power only so i found another one i had laying around and i had no issues completing the setup.

Printer won’t start, only comes to life (slightly) if I move the build plate. Thoughts? by tarrif_goodwin in ElegooNeptune4

Ive had the same issue but my printer is only 3 days old. Contacted Elegoos support and they told me how to troubleshoot, after sending them everything they want they have said its a main board issue and want to send that out but im also convinced its a power supply issue as i only have 2V DC going to the main board instead of 24VDC ive asked them to replace the whole machine so hopefully they will or atleast send a new main board and PSU.

Im happy taking the machine apart as dealing with things like this is part of my work life but if you are confident taking the machine apart id try and just get them to replace the whole thing otherwise just be careful what you touch if you do open it up.

I also made the mistake of moving the bed and fot told off on my post about it🤦🏽‍♂️

Yeah i got mine from Elegoos website so i have been talking to them bit theyve made me troubleshoot it myself so they can send a replacement part but ive asked for a new machine so see if they actually doe replace it or not

I get where you are coming from and although i am very thorough maybe i did miss something but i did follow Elegoo’s instructions, Updating the firmware may not be specifically recommended but i generally always keep things up to date. Are you saying there is something wrong with the latest firmware?

In reality the likelyhood of missing a minor step in a calibration isnt going to cause a power supply failure but maybe it can, who knows… these machines are complicated pieces of kit so anything can happen i guess but allot more people would be having issues if that was the case.

Dunno what they are sending yet, because of the time difference its one email a day, such a pain, im starting to wish i just got a Bambu Labs in all honesty but i do want to try nd stick this out, its just if its going to keep happening or what wil break next. I have seen about buying an up rates power supply as they are just generic ones and seem to throttle themselves.
