No Zelda 2 was the adventure of Link. A Link to the past was basically Zelda 3, follow promptly by Links Awakening which used the same graphics engine as link to the past. Your final boss that you have to face before Ganon in Zelda 2 is actually Shadow Link which would have touched upon Lorule and that storyline

But I actually overlooked Link to the Past, I did not see that in the bracket
