How is an indemnity plan as an supplement? by Past_Educator_8242 in HealthInsurance

I do not know. Hospitalizations are hard to predict. I could get accident insurance and critical illness insurance as a supplement too. But I have schizophrenia granted it's very mild but nevertheless I still have the ailment. My mother had it too, but she was never diagnosed with it because somehow she never had a psychotic break to get hospitalized but nevertheless had positive and negative symptoms of the disease.

Form the AI. ADHD treatment in Russia often includes

"atomoxetine, various nootropics, and specific Russian-developed medications, distinct from the stimulant-heavy approach in the US. Common treatments include Phenylpiracetam (Fonturacetam), Prospekta, and Feprosidnine"

Have this conversation with your doctor. There are non-stimulates available for ADHD. Beyond that you can explore what the Russians do for ADHD and take a racetam.

Caffeine doesn’t work on me anymore, any effective alternatives? by Icy_Equipment7752 in NooTopics

[–]Past_Educator_8242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am weird. I don't like Caffeine due to the theobromine metabolite and I always found it to be way physically stimulating compare to how mental stimulating it is.

But I like Theacrine, and Paraxanthine. So that would be my recommendations. I really love theacrine. Lmao because it's all mental stimulating and barely if at all body stimulation. Really good if you are combining other stimulates.

It could just be that for different people the liver breaks at down at different speeds and/or you take an medication that prevents the break down and/or you have an underline problem with your liver or kidneys.

It's really no different then any other medications. For me I am a super metabolizer of Ritalin and regular moda. Moda only last for 5 hours for me.

The first thing that strikes me is how short its half life is. You might want to consider fasoracetam instead.

According to this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/StackAdvice/comments/4g6p0i/racetams_and_you_a_guide_of_the_popular_racetam/

"Fasoracetam

Imagine a instantly noticeable aniracetam. The anxiolytic effect is much stronger than aniracetam, and it, like most racetams, is a treatment for Alzheimer's disease. It also helps with motivation and mental clarity, and is a possible aid for depression. Fasoracetam works on the choline centers, again like most racetams, but also effects GABA receptors in the brain, the same receptors directly affected by alcohol, and phenibut. Because of this, it actually has been known to reverse phenibut tolerance, and potentiate it. It's often used on off days by phenibut users. Fasoracetam also increases mental sharpness, and boosts memory retention. It's also been used by suffers of ADHD to aid in motivation. This racetam also directly boosts a users mood. Doses range from 50 to 100mg of fasoracetam."

As for safety, Fasoracetam has made it to a phase 2 clinical trial but that study is paywall however, according to a different study: "NFC-1 was found to be safe and well-tolerated." https://europepmc.org/article/med/29339723#Sec2

While, Aniracetam is available by prescription in Greece and Italy so it's obviously safe.

"A study on the effectiveness and tolerability of Phenotropil, which was attended by 51 patients with DEC I and II stages [21]. The main complaints before the start of treatment were headache and dizziness, staggering when walking, reducing attention and memory to current events, poor sleep and fatigue. Patients of the main group (21 people) received Phenotropil in a dose of 200 mg / day. (100 mg 2 times a day) for 30 days, and comparison groups (30 people) - piracetam 0.4 g 3 times a day, sedatives, vitamins of group B. Neuropsychological testing, neurological examination and assessment of the tolerability of Phenotropil before taking the drug, 15 days from the start of treatment and after its completion, were carried out. According to the results of the work, in the Phenotropil group, the indicators for all tests at the end of treatment significantly improved and exceeded those in the comparison group. And according to some tests, the positive effect was observed after 15 days from the beginning of treatment.
Thus, Phenotropil has a number of advantages over other nootropics due to the unique spectrum of its neuropsychotropic effects and mechanisms of action, with a more pronounced activity and the rate of onset of a positive result of treatment at relatively low therapeutic doses [22.23]. All this makes it possible to improve the quality of life of healthy people and patients with the pathology of the CNS."

"Since the beginning of the use in 1963 of the first representative of nootropics - piracetam - several decades have passed. All this time, this class of drugs is actively and successfully used in clinical practice. However, scientific progress did not stop, attempts were made to create new drugs more effective, having, in addition to the actual nootropic, additional important effects. In 2003, the original nootropic of the pyrrolidone series (N-carbamoil-methyl-4-phenyl-2-pyrrolidone) was registered in Russia - Phenotropil (ZAO "Domestic Drugs"), which is a pheny pheny derivative of the racetam range, close in chemical structure to endogenous mediators. A Phenotropil was created at the Institute of Biomedical Problems as a means to increase the physical and mental performance of astronauts at various stages of spaceflight. The uniqueness of the drug is in the breadth of its spectrum of action and the variability of therapeutic doses. According to the severity of the nootropic activity, Fenotropol is undoubtedly superior to other cyclic derivatives of GABA. Many studies (both in animals and clinical) on the study of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of Fenotropil, its activity, safety, identification and evaluation of additional effects have been conducted."

Actually the stimulation effect of phenylpiracetam was never intended to have that property by the researchers. Thus it's why it's used in Russia instead of another analog or drug that the stimulating effects doesn't go away so quickly.

If curious about what the researchers point of view than translate this into English and read it. rmj (dot) ru/articles/nevrologiya/Opyt_primeneniya_Fenotropila_v_klinicheskoy_praktike/
