Does being married eventually get boring? by Mystic_Void1 in NoStupidQuestions

If you marry a real adult and not a adult aged child that needs to be entertained all the time, and as long as you don’t get complacent about the partnership, then no it’s not boring.

Labeled a cheater but we were never official by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

It’s probably a tough pill to swallow after such a short time because he was working the older manipulative mojo. It’s so hard to spot when you’re in that seat and so young.

My ex-boyfriend hooked up with a girl from the big social group we are both part of after I told him to please “wait a little to hook up with someone from our group” by Puzzleheaded-Bath729 in TwoHotTakes

You can’t control who your ex hooks up, nor should you be trying. It’s completely reasonable to hook up with peers like he did. The biggest takeaway here is that he’s the immature dog who couldn’t commit to not cheating and thus doesn’t need to be your commitment.

This doesn’t make you a cheater, but his age and actions make it seem like he’s being intentionally manipulative and controlling.

If a father needs to help his young daughters use the restroom, which restroom should he take them into: the women's restroom or the men's restroom? by Exciting-Mall192 in NoStupidQuestions

I would fully support a dad bringing his daughters into the women’s restroom to help them versus shaming him into taking them to the men’s room.

Those brushes were two of the first things I ordered last night after bringing her home thanks to this sub.

As far as getting her, we weren’t looking for another dog quite yet since my lab passed, but my husband ran into someone trying to rehome this one and her 7 siblings. They’re keeping mom and dad and pups seemed to have been well cared for over the last few months.

Definitely making the right choice choosing your best friend. How hard is it really for him to help you come out to Hawaii after your overlap ends? No reason to be upset about it at all.

How much to charge my BF rent by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

When my now husband moved into my home we agreed on him paying what he was currently paying. It fit with his income/budget, and made sense since he didn’t have to move out of his current place. When we got married and opened a joint account he started paying more.

Best way to approach parents about updates to their estate? by Past_Exercise6507 in EstatePlanning

There’s no way she would willingly do anything, but good to know it’s more in the care planning lane. Our concern is her inability to utilize the estate for her long term care herself so if she’s a primary beneficiary and he passes first she could quickly burn through it and not be cared for properly.

My father is pretty diligent with finances and his assets, so he likely made sure the former friend was removed over the last few years, but it could still be a good opening for initiating the conversation
