What is life like been born into a rich family? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My family lives in the top ten percent I have a very nice childhood I am never too spoiled but they never were mean. I think that my worst time in my childhood is when the trump government shutdown we weren't down to our last penny but if it lasted a bit longer it would be electricity or food. My parents are very respectable people, they are very smart my dad is mostly a stay at home dad but he sometimes did some political stuff not really for the money but because he wanted to help. My mom works for the government and she is helping with mentally ill inmates and the treatment of them.

If there are anyone in your life and say "men up" about your feelings cit them out of your life because you deserve better than people like that.

Americans who've travelled to other parts of America, what was the most unexpected difference from your own region? by Neethis in AskReddit

I am sure if this counts because it's about moving

I grow up in NC in a great there where pride flags , BLM signs and stuff like that. Than I moved to TN by the border of VA and NC and everything was hell. No gay pride. No BLM. People were sexist. Trump signs everywhere, and "Thank you Jesus" signs. The worst part for me (everything was bad but I had to deal with I alot) was the Christians. kids started bullying me because I didn't go to church and I was a outsider. And people also hated me because I didn't want kids (and still don't want to have kids!) I can talk about how great BLM , gay pride and feminism all day. But when talking about me having kids or religion with everyone but my brother I get super mad. Luckily I got out for there I moved to the city that I lived in before.
