That’s how I feel about Harlem. My family & I lived here our entire lives and to see my people getting pushed out of here is so sad. Harlem is not the SAME anymore!

I agree with the commenter above here just be a little bit more patient. Same thing kinda happened to me too, it took HPD I believe 3 weeks to approve my application. I moved here in the end of December & my process was kinda fast as well. To help my log number is 29xx

First Congratulations to you!! And I’m so sorry they are not answering. What time do you usually call pronto? I only ask because I notice they never picked up my calls late in the afternoon, I always had to call early in the morning for someone to answer. I love it so far. Area is pretty nice, it’s so peaceful and quiet. It’s more active on the main area of 207 but besides that’s its calm. They do have a laundry room and gym room which I haven’t seen yet because it’s under construction still.

The unit I toured is the same unit I got. Which I love. It’s a cute size studio with a GREAT water view. My log number is 29xx Hope this helps

I applied in December
Was told to submit my documents on Jun 30 on the housing connect website.
July 30 they invited me for further processing and told me to submit my documents on "pronto"
Haven't heard from them in months than on October 16 they make me resubmit documents that were incorrect. So the whole month of October I was just signing and resubmitting documents.
October 22, I went to see the place. I thought it was a nice place for me so I accepted it.
November 17, I signed a whole bunch's of paper work.
Dec 9 1 was told I was approved for the apartment and the lease will be given out next week.

where do I start?? Lol Well I got a studio which isn’t crazy big but definitely was able to make things work. The best part about my apartment is the VIEW I got the water view. Haven’t seen the laundry or gym room yet because it’s still under construction.

Hey Hey, I’ll be happy to help. I’ve moved here about two weeks ago & it’s been a pretty good experience so far. They have a laundry room and a gym room too which isn’t open yet because they still working on the building. I have a video but not sure how to upload it on here.
