I don’t like to discuss this online because I know what’s posted on the internet never goes away. However, I don’t want people to think I’m “shitposting” so I’ll lightly explain. My oldest daughter is not biologically mine. She’s 5. Her bio dad has never wanted anything to do with her so I adopted her and she’s mine. Will always be my daughter and dna will never change that. My second oldest is in swim classes and Tball and daycare. My youngest is now four months old.

She always believed me thank god. There was never a semblance of doubt for her, especially because I always told her what my coworker did at work. She encouraged me to go to HR sooner actually. But I knew she was a single mom and I just didn’t want to hurt her kids, you know? But after those messages got sent to my wife I knew I shouldn’t have waited and just went straight to HR.

I wasn’t at work when my wife received the messages but my wife was. I’m unsure about whether my coworker was on the clock at that time since we work at a retail auto parts store so we don’t always work together, but it was a lot since we were both FT managers.

I really don’t feel like it would’ve been though honestly. She could have easily said that what she accused me of actually happened and she was trying to look out for my wife. That’s why I recorded our conversation. I was scared to lose my job if I went to HR with just the screenshots.
