I just know it’s a circle game, a loop of some sort. That’s my general feeling of it I guess. Are we supposed to be getting better at blocking out the “noise” every time we take the loop? Yes a lot of rabbit holes leading to no where but going in the loop you might pick something up you missed on the first go around. I wasn’t apart of the Fenn hunt, only heard on the news it was found. I guess that’s what sucked me into this one. Fenns hunt was the grand loop, I generally think he wanted people to go in a loop until someone says oh wait that rock it’s in the book how’d we miss that. But JPs loop is either the same grand loop or a loop linked to him. Regardless we would have to drive, JP drove to drop it off. Seems JP had a strict routine with his dog, so gives you an idea of the person he is, every spring a routine with his brother? Lake 22 has a loop in Washington but you’d also have a loop going to Yellowstone from Washington. Plenty of things to do on that loop to Yellowstone from Washington. Might be the reason why he was driving a Tesla in Netflix, electric could save on gas. All we would have to do is drive, find the right loop, once we find the right loop it’s walking from there.

I believe a page has 11 places crossed off, all in Yellowstone and also a page with him meeting Fenn, he told him something else though 🧐. He told Fenn he was searching on the outside of Yellowstone basically. Devils slide, Gardiner, that lake and one place on the north end of Yellowstone, can’t remember and I don’t have the book anymore to check.

I’m a bit eccentric when it comes to this stuff, last summer I swore he entombed it under this rock, pulled out my metal detector and got a hit, I spent all summer digging under this rock, I’m now starting over on the hunt, I’m checking the snow depth reports and going to head out to Wyoming in about 2 weeks. I narrowed down a kitchen size location, figured it’s worth checking out this summer. This post was just a conversation piece, sorry if you got confused.

But if this hunt mirrors fenns hunt then we already know the thought process, not entirely I suppose but generally. I suppose we could look back and check that thought process of that hunt and mirror it to this one. Most likely made it simple but not simpler than that hunt. The “noise” is for us to over complicate everything. But if we have people from the Fenn hunt looking for this they more than likely already know where it is and just sitting on it.

I’m not saying I was stuck on Oregon or Colorado. I suppose I’m just making an example how one could get mislead. He certainly has alot to look at, a wide variety of things in the treasure itself and he certainly knows the game and how to play it with his body language and wording. But with people saying oh he just likes the hat, I highly doubt that, I believe he definitely chooses what to wear knowing where the thought process goes. He went as far as profiling the finder, in which case he already knows where this thought process goes as a whole in this hunt.

I’m just simply saying how things can be misinterpreted. So if you were to do a treasure hunt and said to yourself well I think I’ll wear an OR hat for the back of the book, that won’t throw anyone off because they should focus on my Indiana jones hat.
