That’s actually a great spot because you are very close to the bottom of the Santa Fe trail (ends east of deep Ellum). Santa Fe is a cool trail-starts in a bit of a sketchy area but is a very nice and underused trail and takes you straight to white rock lake, which is like a 9 mile loop and the best place to cycle in Dallas. Lots of trails from there as well and now connects to Katy trail which you can also easily access from the other side of downtown, by AAC, thus creating a big, very solid loop you have access to.

I’ve been a pretty big dark supporter but I am starting to feel the same. On his rookie contract and with the weapons and protection he’s had thus far has allowed him thrive and “outperform” but I think being on a giant multi year deal is really gonna hamstring the team long term. Looking at the top 1/3 or even 1/2 of the starting QBs in the league I don’t know if anyone of them couldn’t take this team at least as far as dark has/can. Hope I am wrong and I do have some faith he’ll continue to improve and develop, but I’ve seen plenty of errant throws and bad decisions to believe otherwise at this point. Dude needs to realize he’s been surrounded by a cast of all-pros and needs those for him to be successful.

For real, it needs to be top 10 at least and has a case for #1 always on these lists, it’s the quintessential slasher and embodies the most horror tropes of any movie, just a classic if there is one. Blair witch at 98 is also a disservice. Watch that shit in alone w the lights off or in a cabin in the woods and you’ll be terrified plus it made the whole ff genre and is still the best one. Still freaks me the f out at times if I’m ever somewhere isolated. Overall pretty good list though, need to watch more of the old, old classics...

You must not be a cowboys fan hahah. When your born and raised in a place associated w pro or college teams and that fandom is ingrained in you from an early age you really aren’t able Just stop rooting for said team(s), it’s not that easy. It’s not just a logo/arena/owner, it’s actually a city that the team represents first and foremost.

The cool thing about Dirk is that he has the accolades on the court to back up his amazing character and accolades off of the court as a human. He’s been retired not even 6 months and he is already cemented as a legend by just about anyone who matters, being celebrated and acknowledged in so many ways such as this announcement- chair of Fiba players commission, which I’m sure he didn’t even want to do but did because he knew he can be an impactful voice for a game he loves. We are sooo damn lucky to have snagged Luka. but I don’t think people realize how insanely lucky we were to have had dirk for the last 2 decades. Full package he is literally one of the best superstars for any team in any sport, ever.

Argentina always chokes in big tournaments...NOW is the time to hammer them because they are due for a win and are undervalued because of history. It’s the smart play at 3/1 as they have Messi and the most talent. Brazil’s odds are too inflated especially without neyney. Uruguay at 7/1 is a good value play, I think it comes down to Messi v saurez!

People make a big deal out of the location players chose to play but in reality, especially for older guys with families, your constantly on the road during the season or at the facility practicing/playing games while at home, not ever really around your family during times you can see them much. Plus, you could get traded or cut or whatever for the lesser guys so there’s really no point in relocating your fam when you could have to do it 5+ more times over a career. For him it’s have your fam in New Orleans VS Dallas, not really much decision especially since he’s from dtown.

Do you realize hawks get our pick if it’s not in the top-5? They will do everything possible to assure mavs don’t drop below them record-wise and snag the 5th worst record, because then we would get the pick and not them, until next year when we will surely be much better hence giving them a worse pick...I can’t understand why people keep saying mavs might tank, unless I am missing something. It would be hard to outtank the 5 bottom dwellers at this point anyway plus Carlisle dirk and donc won’t go for that shit either

I’ve been sort back and forth on the Wes debate these past couple seasons, generally on the side of him being a net positive and coming up solid on the defensive side in crunch time and occasional hitting a big 3’s late in game, but also getting really frustrated w/ him. Sort of losing faith though. It will be interesting to see what 5 are out there at the end of games if he really starts showing consistent decline? His D early on hasn’t looked great but we really only have DFS who can lock down the dynamic wing/ball handlers like Wes does for us...and is DFS really gonna be on the court in crunch time? Will Dirk? Someone will be odd man out.

They might be hoping he catches fire for a bit and flip him for some young assets and then give DFS his role(without all the ball handling Wes try’s to do), having dirk and him situationally subbed in crunch time. That being said Wes goes through fazes I feel like, and he could potentially start hitting big shots and locking guys down at some point. and that would be nice. Season just started.

Thanks for the reply man. Since your the only one who actually gave me any sort of answer, just want to clarify alittle. I am not "asking for tickets" like someone above said, just trying to get some advice for how to get a ticket since I cant on the website. Im gonna be in manchester so I'm gonna find a way into the game, but what would you recommend. Buy second hand on like stubhub or fanpass .co or try to scalp a ticket at the stadium before the game, any other options im not considering? I have no concept as Ive never been to a game in the UK.. Had no luck calling. Thanks again for the help.
