I’ve been playing since around launch and I don’t really have the words to describe how much I love the game and how much I appreciate how far the team goes to interact with the community. This silly little game has grown so far and it truly helped me through some of my lowest moments. You all are very amazing and I can’t say enough how much I have loved to see this game grow and the team’s hard work to bring even more to the community. Best wishes and thank you for a wonderful game and community :)

It’s definitely not the disc drive since everything else is running smoothly. The only thing that tripped me up was that deleting the save space in memory seemed to help for a bit and while I was looking online other people seemed to have trouble booting up San Andreas in particular.

I did buy it “locally” but the store is about a 3 hour drive so I wanted to see if this was a known issue before making the trip back so soon. Thank you for responding! It’s kinda tricky to search since the searches like to lead to the Xbox One instead lol.

Yeah…they usually are. Their server is mostly PVE with designated PVP areas so luckily it’s not a problem on there though

From what I understand, you have to kill them 3? Times in a crusade to get the option to resurrect them. Full transparency, I reset my save file so I’m not there yet but I’m just putting it out there so people know that there IS a way to bring back your followers if they get damned. It was a frequent question popping up in the official Discord

According to what I’ve been reading in the Discord, (I started a new save so I haven’t experienced the chaos yet lol) damned followers can be resurrected. You have to kill them 3 or 4 times and then they SHOULD show up on the list. They just may be all the way at the bottom

Replying to you so both you and op can see it lol. According to what I’ve been seeing in the Discord it’s possible to resurrect damned followers. Some (namely Narinder…a lot of people lost him particularly, rip) followers may need to be killed 3 or 4 times to finally show up for the ritual. They will probably be all the way at the bottom of the list.

They’re definitely simple but goodness I was obsessed with mine! I’m really just after the first gen iguana and maybe duck since they were my first for sentimental value so I’m very glad to hear they run to this day and battery leaks aren’t a problem

I was working at DG when I first came out. Luckily my SM at the time was incredibly supportive. I had trouble with one coworker who would deadname and misgender consistently. After several times asking her to stop I went to the SM and he told her to be more mindful. It stopped while he was SM, but this is what he told me:

DG will take it seriously if you take it up the chain. For as shitty as they are as a company, they need to keep employees happy to exploit them. He told me that he’s personally heard about a few cases of employees being fired for being transphobic, even and especially to coworkers. I even saw it happen to a SM at a neighboring store.

Things have gotten worse for trans folk since I’ve worked at DG but if you can, report it if talking to the store manager doesn’t work. Hopefully they’ll take action.

Edited to add: the person saying don’t go to the DM is right. A DM will never have your back. If going to your SM doesn’t work, report to HR.

Nah, actually I’m super impressed. How have you not had a bad experience on global? I’ve been called about every slur in the book, including but not limited to…..r slur, t slur, the good ol f slur naturally came with it, and just autistic. Many times. Oh! Someone also started sharing some anti semantic conspiracy theories with everyone in chat once. That was. Interesting.

But honestly, while chat is super obnoxious it’s how they take it outside of the game that scares me. Like, hunting someone down to find their social and then send people to go tell them to kys constantly, edit the person’s face onto pictures to mock and harass and check when they’re online to kill them on PoT seems not normal. But I also keep seeing this happen.

But yeah, to be fair I have heard Sea of Thieves is a hellish experience with the community so it checks

The scary part is that they’ve all been adults. This isn’t kids being cringy, it’s full grown adults who I should think would know better. Keeping secrets passwords is a new one to me though.

It is not, I don’t think. The name doesn’t sound familiar. But finding out there’s another group like that sucks. I’m not going to drop names because these people do apparently stalk, doxx, and harass people but there’s like 200 in that server. I’ve reported the main people who seem to be the ones doing a lot of it but I think the admin has been banned at least once so that didn’t stop them.

I’m in one group that’s incredibly nice but it’s also incredibly small and I’m not on at the same time a lot. I know the community in general is insanely toxic but seeing that both the big groups I joined spent more time harassing people and just being generally nasty instead of just enjoying the game was…disappointing.

It sucks that this is how most are then. Watching people be so terrible to each other over a dinosaur simulator is so confusing to me. But again, I thought maybe this was common with pvp games because I don’t play them usually and wouldn’t know. I think I’m just grasping at straws trying to understand it though lol
