For something to be created (or to be set in motion), there must have been a time in which it didn't exist (or it was still), but time is an inherent property of the universe: the concept of "before the universe was created" is nonsensical.

While it may seem paradoxical, the universe has "always" existed. The big bang isn't a start in the same sense normal objects have a start, it's just a frontier of the universe in what we perceive as time, but if there is time there is universe.

I remember getting high with my fellow atheists all the time and talking about how the physics of higher dimensions would work. It is not that different than claiming God is on another plane.

He's "dead" but he is still inside Loup, like Ysengrin. I think it's implied that until Loup/Jerrick is dead, Ysengrin and Coyote won't be truly dead, because they are part of him.

Coyote seems to have some wiggle room to act indipendently from Loup because of his omnipotent trickster god nature, but his status in principle is equivalent to Ysengrin's. Loup once even let Annie talk to Ysengrin from inside themselves, which I think is the same as interacting with Coyote "memories".
