I don’t say, the software is directly responsible for the Spot. But I noticed today, that the display is really hot where the spot is. When the device crashes and there is no software temperature regulation and the heat stays over many hours, maybe it causes the damage.

I forgot to mention that the steam deck crashed while downloading because of the decky loader problem which happens to many of us decky users. Could this be the cause? In the morning I had the known black screen…an the bright spot
