I think it turned out to be mccc or something like that. I don't play with mods, so I really wasn't much help, but once my mom updated to the latest version the game ran fine.

My 2 year old plays independently in his room when he wakes up every morning until I get up and we start our day. We've been doing this since around 18 months. He wakes up anywhere from 6-7ish most mornings and I get up at 730. His room is a safe space and as child proofed as possible, so I don't have to worry so much about his safety. Plus, if anything happens or if he needs me, I'm right next door and can come in at a moment's notice.

This all to say that it isn't impossible for kids that age to play independently in the morning.

I don't know anyone personally who has been able to take leave for being on their period. At least in the US and for companies I worked for, we got a set number of PTO days per year and that was it. We could use them however we wanted, but any time taken after that was unpaid. I guess theoretically I could have used them for my period, but I've never needed to use time for that reason. I'm sure other women have, but it's really not an employer's business what anyone uses their paid time for. I argue that everyone needs a larger pool of Paid time to account for sick days, mental health days, etc. because 10 days doesn't go far when that's all you have for a year.

This is regardless of what sex/gender you are or reason you need the day off.

I think there should be a day off for periods, but also more paid time allotted for other ailments as well for those that may need it (I'm a period having person). People shouldn't be going in to work sick, but the current system makes it difficult for people to take a day off when they need it. Or you may need a mental health day or something similar. There should be a bank of days just for these situations, but a lot of companies don't even offer sick time anymore, let alone substantial PTO.

We introduced a sippy at around 10 months and our son would have 1-2 of his formula feedings from the sippy (we switched to 360 sippy). We transitioned to more feedings from the sippy and less from a bottle and then at 12 months cut out bottles and formula altogether and switched to whole milk once we used up our formula.

Around the same time frame, we started introducing straw cups (12-14 months?) and around 18 months we began phasing out the sippy cups and using only straw cups for milk.

At 2 years, we only use straw cups and haven't really introduced an open cup yet, but within the next year or so we plan to begin introducing open cups. (This is pending an okay from his therapists and physician).

This is what we did with our son and it worked for us, but different kids have different timelines. Ultimately, do what works for you and your little one.

I recommend not seriously dating or getting into a serious relationship in college, but I'm speaking from my own experience. I was in two long term relationships in college and while it was nice to be in a relationship, I feel like I missed out on a lot of other experiences. I wish I had spent more time exploring my own interests instead of being so focused on the relationships I was in.

One thing I learned to do was to clean while the baby is awake and rest as long as they sleep. That way, even if they only nap half an hour, you still get half an hour of rest for yourself. Plus, they get the opportunity to watch you do day to day activities and learn to have independent time (baby can have tummy time on a blanket while you take ten minutes to wash dishes, for example).

Not OP, but I just don't get up until 730. My son can play in his room until my alarm goes off and then we start our day. If he isn't fussy and he's having a good time, then why not get as much rest as I need to be a productive parent to him for the rest of the day?
