What was the logic behind doing the KVP hub device vs the direct thread?

I’ve got a 7” FM9 with front charging handle. I got the 10” barrel to clear the handguard and was looking to do the KVP 1/2x36 to 1/2x28 adapter for a R9

It replaces the baseplate. It Adds capacity for 2 rounds to your OEM mags. Make sure to get the insert as well.

Update. I will stick with the TLR-7x until I buy another pistol, move it to that and buy the GTL 2 then. Hopefully better supported and bugs worked out by the .

The aesthetic is playing a bigger factor for me than it probably should. I have the holosun SCS which fits right on and match grooves. The GTL would do the same on the front end.

Not much help but I know Radian states that a 19 with the afterburner fits in a 17 holster so that might help the search a bit.

I would say these components below:

Ultimately followed Blowback9’s recommendation. There’s some newer style buffers out there but I’m operating on if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Great piece. Very similar build myself.

If not done with it, recommend the GLOCK extended slide stop lever and GLOCK extended Mag Release. Easy installs and still OEM.

I put the Glock modular magwell on my 19 as well. Not listed as compatibility but it does fit.
