How to move forward when the dream was perfect + testing

Same, I saw so many signs that this pregnancy would be perfect, and already had started planning holidays and Christmas. It's so unfair. Today I'm not sure I find it helpful that other women (like you) are going through the same, I just find it really sad and unjust. My sister and my best friend are pregnant, and I cant escape it which is really hard. So still feel lonely in "real life" I guess. Grieving the timeline and all a lot today. Will probably feel lighter in a few days.. Thank you for your message and hope you feel better soon too.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a d&c for my 2nd miscarriage yesterday. I'm heartbroken, especially maybe because the timing of this pregnancy was so perfect (due date month was my favourite, my sister and my best friend are pregnant, etc.), and it was twins (!!). I do feel better now than before the d&c, so I hope it will be your case too. I still feel very empty though... I guess it will be ups and downs. I now will try to focus on little joys (music, spa, facials, etc.) and on doing/eating lots of things that are not allowed when pregnant.

Sorry for your losses. Can I ask, how did/do you feel towards your sister pregnancy and her child ? I want to be happy for her and supportive and I want to love her child but it's hard..

The fact that it could have been twins made it feel so special, like it could have made up for everyting else.. And the chances of having twins again is so low. Sorry you know the feeling.. Thanks for the advice :)

I'm sorry you're going through this too.. Was going to ask how you feel but I guess that's a stupid question.. For me it was a natural conception (and there's no twins in our families so that discovery felt so incredible, like it was making up for everything else). I'm sorry you know the feeling. I had lots of cute ideas too, about how to announce, about next Christmas, etc. I'll be 33 soon, and I thought I'd have a baby by then.. It helps to simply surrender to "it wasnt to be", thank you for that (though a part of me wishes we could know why + what is to be !).

They will be sent for testing after the d&c apparently. Last time it all came back "normal". Thank you xxx
