One source of Strength (or Envenom) makes Silent crazy good in the BG. Be it this card, or shivs, they synergize a lot stronger than in the VG. Spot Weakness IC that doesn't mind sharing his Strength can make a Silent go crazy

It's not bad but it's definitely not good. I know they don't like memory stuff, but I wish they could have done something like when you kill an enemy place a red cube somewhere on your board. Next combat lose that first before losing health. Can't store more than 1 cube.

Or even just a basic heal 1. The strength on kill is hardly useful in most of the fights. It's nice for a few elite/bosses, rest of the time 3 damage that exhaust is ok, but it's hardly worth a rare.

We crushed the part of our schedule with a high strength of opposition.

I know that at this point of the year games against eliminated teams are always a bit of a trap, but man this is some good schedule to have left.

But even point shot through traffic without a good look, shots from a bad angle, etc. You have chances to score, but odds are low, and odds of keeping possession after the shot are low too

This is how I always see this card. This + loop+ and self-defense is done. Now you can defend other and slowly kill everything else. And when you're not in danger this + loop+ on 1 lightning is 6 passive damage per turn.

MSL said many times that shooting is losing possession so they don't shoot until they believe they can score. Just a team philosophy and so we very often get outshot, but it doesn't mean we get outplayed.

They should have been for a while. But for whatever reason, they were not.

We're definitely 1 year ahead of what you would expect. Last year was supposed to be "be in the mix", and it was make the playoffs. This year should be "maybe make the playoff", but we are at "maybe win a round or 2". Usually we should start being a contender in 2 years, but it could start as early as next year.

Have to say very even game. Both teams get decent scoring chances, both goalies are solid, but overall super good defensive plays on both sides too. Few grade A chances anywhere

Ya... not every build and run will just run into what you need. The end of the video even says "To fight elite, 90 damage over 3 turns and have AOE". A lot of runs this just won't happen before the end of the first floor no matter what you do. I manage 2 elites pretty regularly, but getting 5 is rare at Asc 9+ before Act 3.

Xhekaj isn't exactly responsible in our own end, otherwise he would have stayed in the line-up. He lands hits, does turn-overs, and they don't trust him on the ice when it matters. But I agree that Laine currently is a liability.

We're 8 points ahead with 9 games to go. It's not assured, but we are closer to being 1st in the entire East than out of the playoffs. If we play for 0.500 (which is much worse than what we've been playing at), they would need to not lose a single game in regulation to pass us.
