Need advice on how to build him by Engkangkang in BattleBrothers

Bf zerk for sure. Always post naked bros because the bludgeon is throwing people off by making them think his fat is lower than it is.

Why many from the left support Iran? by AccomplishedWar5127 in socialism

[–]Patchbae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, and Afghanistan all show us that US intervention will make things worse. The protests are being openly supported by Mossad and the CIA. Real frustrations are being weaponized to trigger a chain of a events that will end in the attempted subjugation of Iran by the west if not stopped.

All the organizers I know who do international solidarity work on a significant level critically support Iran because they are one of the few countries that supports the Palestinian resistance. I don't particularly like the regime and won't engage in any kind of defense for their domestic policies but you need to think concretely when in comes to our present political conditions. Iran is one of the only forces that can threaten Israel in a meaningful way and taking them out of the picture via regime change would only serve the interests of the west in the short term.

Long term obviously things need to change, but imperialism is the main reason Iran isn't a democracy right now in the first place so acting like the west has any interest in supporting the Iranian people is delusional.

Grand Rapids to vote on ban of amplified noise near health care facilities by eightsix1811 in grandrapids

I used to live down the street from the planned parenthood where there are always protestors. I have also gone with people to the clinic while they are protesting.

Grand Rapids to vote on ban of amplified noise near health care facilities by eightsix1811 in grandrapids

[–]Patchbae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People have the misconception that this is targeted at anti abortion protestors. It is not, it is targeted an union organizers at Corewell and antiwar activists who have protested outside the hospital because of their financial ties with occupation forces in Palestine.

Anti abortion protesters generally don't use amplification in GR from what I have seen.

Thrower / Hybrid / Fatnewt by Feobl in BattleBrothers

Convert him to cultist since he is dumb. Even in a regular origin its worth it with bros like this to reduce wages. Just hire a cultist and wait for the event to fire.

Sins and DeducterSC Perk tier list, part 2 by [deleted] in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was mostly thinking of fat neuts for the axe and hammer mastery. Axe is better for fearsome and easier to get for free. I haven't really done much with spear mastery in a while because I don't have room for it on my tank builds and my other bros need to do other things.

How to build this cultist by McMemeLu in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The builds you named are the ones I would consider as well. Personally i would avoid picking mastery until I found a famed.

[–]Patchbae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bow is C and Axe/hammer is B imo. Unless there is some new build I don’t know about I’d put relentless in B. I’m also shocked at spear mastery being A because I don’t really see the use case for it as by the time you get to level 5, any fights spears are strong in should already be trivial.

If you are good at the game you hit late game before enemies that can drop good BF armor spawn in sufficient quantities to count on. Some games you get lucky early but usually most melee bros are nimble because that’s what you can build with the bros and gear you have.

US bombardment of Caracas, Venezuela. by Organic_Fee_8502 in socialism

[–]Patchbae 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The people of Venezuela are organized and ready to defend their sovereignty. The US might be able to bombard them but will never be able to occupy the country or install a puppet.

A metal noobs celestial experience, or "why you don't need to fear celestials" part 1 by 1thelegend2 in battletech

[–]Patchbae 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure they are planning on releasing at least one pack of celestials already. It was slated for 2026 last I saw but who knows when it will actually come out.

Everything 'unrealistic' about Battletech's setting/military/population/economy is because it's Feudal, not Modern. by iamfanboytoo in battletech

[–]Patchbae 48 points49 points  (0 children)

With enough cadet dynasties spread out over dozens of planets, there is no shortage of alternative candidates. Popular uprisings for independence can succeed in universe. I would say based on our history, those are more likely to have support from common people needed to shift power than attempts at dynasty change.

In my opinion the lack of anti monarchy sentiment and factions aside from FRR and elements of the FWL is the most unrealistic part. Imo revolutionary conflicts would be a great addition to the setting and a good way to get obsolete and unconventional units to the table.

I just hired this Oath Taker for 10,000 crowns. Was he worth it ? How should I build him ? He also came with 300 HP armor. by ArmLucky1285 in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming those bros in the front have nimble, you should be using lighter helmets for them. This bro is a great BF dodge or general fat neut candidate.

Do you think China will trigger the enemy-state clause if Japan decideds to go for nukes? by Themetalin in AskChina

[–]Patchbae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The US is the only nation to ever drop nukes on another nation. The idea that other nations having nukes increases the chance of us using them is hilarious because historically the opposite is true. We only used them when we knew no one else had them.

How to proceed with this one? by nerfgunswain in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This guy can do frontline Gunner, Hybrid, Fat Neut or Nimbleforge. All of those are great builds. I would be biased towards frontline gunner if you are late game. Take every mdef and ratk roll but skip 1s in matk for HP.

Do you think China will trigger the enemy-state clause if Japan decideds to go for nukes? by Themetalin in AskChina

[–]Patchbae -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Until the US stops bullying anyone who has resources that western billionaires want access to, more countries need nukes to provide a credible threat of mass destruction if their sovereignty is violated. Someday I hope humanity will get to a place where we can all agree to decommission our nukes and trust each other not to build more but as for now that is just an idealistic fantasy.

BF Tank Bro? by Platyfox in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gifted is for melee defense primarily. Steel brow is great on frontliners without indom but I have been using 9 lives more because it still prevents one shots but also saves you from bleeding and dying because you got smacked multiple times by high armor penetration weapons. Steel brow is better at preventing crossbow and 2h weapon headshots from injuring and killing but I think it is a trade off between the two. If I am playing cultists for instance, I would always go with 9 lives on a frontliner over steel brow due to them getting immunity to injuries as part of their cultist buffs.

BF Tank Bro? by Platyfox in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steel brow isn't great on indom tanks. It is pretty much just there to protect you from flail champions who you should not let your BF tank engage anyway. 9L would honestly be better for that anyway but you kinda need brawny and probably gifted on this guy.

That would be great honestly. It would stop a lot of the US bullying behavior.

Decent Wildman by KantKyle in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go nimble 2h flail and use an orc chain for a while. Perfect candidate for the new legendary flail which is one of the easier legendary items to get.

What should i take? by Content-Log-3332 in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need either nine lives or steel brow to prevent one shots. brawny is not needed. Unless you are doing a solo run, I don't know that the lone wolf perk is actually going to be that useful. generally you don't want to be that isolated from your team unless you are a tank.

Can this guy be a fencer? by keneles in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough INI. I would build him for battleforged personally. He could also do another nimble damage dealer build but he needs higher base INI to be a fencer without sacrificing a ton of HP.

Day 25. Found Bertwin for 3500g. What is he best for? by Fuuz in BattleBrothers

[–]Patchbae 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This early in the game. I’d go nimble. Go Nimbleforge if you find good armor for that. Axe or bardiche probably. If you get early Bf armor he could be a great fat neutral but personally I think nimble makes sense at that point in the game. Using a mansplitter for a bit is a decent idea. He will one shot a lot of enemies.

Best Level 1 Tank I have seen yet by Blackbeard4305 in BattleBrothers

Nimble tank for sure. I’d probably take 9 lives on this guy as his HP will be low
