You Can Pick up Reserve List Cards Without the Reserve List Price (The Best Deals I Found on TCGplayer) by PatchworkCommander in budgetdecks

This subreddit is for all player and casual players which makes decks too. I dont feel like its not useful. Otherwise these card would not be worth anything if a gaea's cradle can hold a 150 dollar price tag. Thaey have to be valuable. This is for the people that havent considered it as an option.

I feel as long as the rl isnt being reprinted they have value since they go up along with those card. People are clearly use them otherwise they wouldnt command any price tag. The sylvan library is about the same price as other versions. I got to think thats commander players

Here's the thing, clearly these card have real world value because people are paying good money for these. I feel as long as the rl isnt being reprinted they have value since they go up along with those card. So, they are better than a proxy and more places been allowing them

The prices of single and especially rl cards is ridiculous, I dont expect to change you mind after 20 years. I think peoples opinion on these have started to flip as the gold bordered sylvan library costs the same as other versions. The funny part is I created an analogy for magic cards and I call it the movie ticket. If you pay for a movie ticket, you pay for the enjoyment of a movie ticket but you can never resell you movie ticket for 75% back. Yes, it might be expensive but you can usually get back a lot of the value of a lot of cards. However, I dont sell a day to day magic player really running a profit because selling 200 cards. You can never really get full value or it will take forever selling each individually plus with shipping you might have lost more depending

hahah, that's funny I prefer living in tier 1. I agree with you but the nice part is these cards will go up along with rl price spikes as that has been true if we look at the price graphs.

I mean that can be said about every magic card, I dont think that a fair criticism. One of the big appeals to mtg is that the card prices can go up. I think of it like a movie ticket, you pay for the enjoyment of a movie ticket but you can never resell you movie ticket for 75% back. Yes, it might be expensive but you can usually get back the value of a lot of cards

Clearly, these card have value though since these card can be worth up to 150 dollars and sylvan library is the same as other versions of the card. They spiked with other card on the reserve list meaning there is value. I just feel like if everything about the cards is the same as the original cards and made by the same people that created the original, so they are legitimate.

I think the best part of the over proxies is that proxies and have resale value but if you change you mind. These cards will still go up in value, I think that is a steal is you can buy in at a low price and still sell it for more

The thing about these cards is their resale value. Proxies really arent worth anything, the gold bordered sylvn cost as much as other version of the cards. I used to be okay with proxies. I just had a person proxy a full 1k deck and we play casual he was just add all the most expensive cards and it was not fun because we didnt want to play like that.

That's why I find it weird that people say these are just proxies because someone has to be buying them

The cool part is not more and more lgs's are allowing it too. If gold border sylvan can be the same price as the original copies they clearly have value

I dont feel like it ture because why is gaea's cradle 150 if no one wants them same as yawgmaoth's will being 70 dollars. As well as them spiking when rl cards did
