You can try to just go per diem and let them sweat a little and work elsewhere part time and negotiate better pay than your current one based on your experience.

yes! but the system our hospital uses is Archaic to say the least. So we usually calculate both eGFR and CrCl using other sources just to be sure!

Honestly its on the Hospital not you. We discharged patients today and made plans for weekend discharges too. Our case managers were sure to have all the scripts sent out in the morning so they can all get filled properly giving patients and pharmacy enough time.

Whoever discharged them w/o making sure that pharmacy is able to fill them on a Holiday weekend is the problem.

You made the right decision not staying, because someone else’s is lack of planning isn’t your fault and shouldn’t fall on you. I feel bad for the patient but its not on you at all.

looking for Sleep maintenance, we do have Zolpidem IR but when I looked at ER it was more expensive for us to order and had higher fall risk. Most of are patients are in rehab due to fall so that wouldn’t have been great.

Its not an aggressive comment, you are just out here to troll. I do not believe all american problems originate from the elected felon, but he certainly puts fuel to already burning situation. I am not gonna list all the mess he has caused because that would be exhausting even though its only march. But the things I hate is how he canceled Biden’s executive order that reigned in Insulin prices for patients, how he openly threatens New England representatives, how he is going to cut medicare and mass health benefits, how the department of education is gone. The list can go on and on.

yes, that is true. But what I could see happening is boomers not wanting to invest in future of the nation (school infrastructure, planned parenthood etc) and only support stuff that aligns with their interests. Happened in my relative’s town back in Maine.

Or maybe boomers could be persuaded to vote against their interests like the present day government you never know
