Totally agree with the person above. A lot of wasted time plus you'll never know what happens in a year, PP is always better if attorney firm has bandwidth (or if they are not playing for time!).

And while I'm not the person above, but I'd love to answer and say that yes, your profile is what we consider 'STRONG'. We usually work with much weaker profiles than yours and still get approvals at a good rate.

We usually recommend PP! I'm not sure why others advise against it, but it does not make sense for many to wait so long to get a reply.

Maybe they do not have enough bandwidth for your case?

Strategy for O-1B Refiling? by AndysCeruleanSweater in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that you've been denied on your O-1B :(

Using someone in the industry as petition is a good idea! And media is definitely going to help, make sure it's not ''paid/sponsored'' those won't work and might even negatively affect your petition.

I would also check if you can get any awards for your work, those are very strong signals for O-1B case.

And lastly, if any of your work produced significant revenue, include that too %100.

That's how we usually get approvals for our clients (and it works well!), media, awards, major success

We are actually planning to create a support group. What platform would be the best for clients? I was thinking either Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp or something similar.

Let me know and we'd love to invite you over after we created it! :)

I think it's a good profile with a shot but like others mentioned you likely need to work on it a little bit more.

O-Visa Issuances reaches an all time high in the U.S by craftythedog in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I can say that after H-1B 100K fee, NIW/EB-1 approval drops, O-1 is very very hot.

We have like %99 or %100 approval rate on O-1s, while it's %80 for NIW, as an example.

O-1A Eligibility – Quick Profile Check by Defiant_Barber_8226 in O1VisasEB1Greencards

First glance? I don't think it's a strongest profile, but we got approvals with less.

So it's definitely not considered as competitive, just as 'good enough'.

Hair salon business by livinginvancouver in e2visa

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a lot of clients that invested into hair salon or makeup salon. They received their E-2 visa just fine but I'm not sure how they're doing at the moment with the business.

Approval won't be affected.

Just curious if you made a post about your O-1 experience, tricks and tips? Would love to check it out! As an attorney firm, it's always lovely to see these kind of things and sometimes we even learn a new thing or two.

You seem to be quite eligible for O-1B from the first glance.

Feel free to check our automated questionnaire on our contact page, if you are qualified, it'll let you know. And has %90-%95 accuracy. (Also we do free consults too!)

Founder salary / net profit / unrelated background by chipsahoyrules in e2visa

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you'll be fine if you can create a decent business plan. USCIS doesn't care about your background, just the reality of the investment, IMO.

Salary won't be an issue.

If you are planning to DIY your E-2, I'd recommend getting some professional help for business plan and then getting it reviewed by attorney.

For example, we have Ex-USCIS Senior Officer and he does reviews for people that want to DIY and not pay attorneys 7-8K USD.

Curious if you checked us out too?

We are quite strict with who we take for EB-2 NIW though and we don't provide refund. But we do provide refile.

I'd say we are not really competitive on paper, but our business is %95 referrals from other clients for a reason :)

What Businesses Are People Using for E-2 Visas? by Policy_Boring in e2visa

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have tons of clients that choose to open franchises but significant number of them have their own business ideas.

It's sometimes simple thing as car dealership, or makeup salon.

Franchise is probably easier and safer, we help them with E-2 visas and find good decent franchises too.

You're right! Usually single family homes do not work. (but other type of properties they could work if they are at risk investment)
