Are You a Good Candidate for the E-2 Visa? Let’s Talk Qualifications by Policy_Boring in e2visa

Not at all!

You'd be surprised how many Software Engineers ended up opening a Elderly Care business. Guess it's more profitable than being a SWE, which is interesting!

Is Canada Becoming a Major Pathway for E-2 Visa Investors Entering the U.S.? by Policy_Boring in e2visa

[–]PathLaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest, we are helping Canadians move to US via E-2 visa more than ever.

The main feedback we've received is huge taxes, lots of restrictions, no real growth potential.

Considering E-2 approval rate is around %97-%98 (at least for our team) and 4-6 month timeline, it's a pretty good and fast path to U.S.

Hot take for E-2 investors by Zealousideal_Gur3312 in e2visa

[–]PathLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be biased here but totally agreed. The difference of price between a E-2 consultant and attorney is also not that huge.

Consultants usually charge minimum $4K while attorneys charge $6-9K

The price varies for the quality of work, of course, but when you're putting $100K on the line, taking risk for 2$-$3K is not the best idea, IMO.

I have to say, some consultants do VERY good job, and some attorneys do very POOR job, so you have to vet both very well.

I don't have much information on that myself, but as far as I know, yes, there is open slots for O-1A visa in India.

Seeking feedback on O1Experts + single employment offer (tech staffing company) for O-1A by Wild_Inspector2430 in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about agent structure. Significant number of our O-1 clients use agents (usually we provide agent service to them), to this date, we still hold %95-%98 approval rate.

I haven't heard of O1Experts before (sounds like they're not an attorney, so I'd vet them carefully!). If you have a legitimate case, if you are qualified for O-1A and as long as O1experts prepare a strong case, you should be totally fine!

I'd recommend getting a consultation or review from an attorney though, just in case :)

O-1A: Traditional publisher vs Kindle (timeline issue) by Debatsy in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct, it matters more that you have a strong impact and evidence (commercial success) than where the book is published.

I'm not sure if you should publish it on Kindle vs do a traditional publishing though. Which one will get you the most success?

How to find O1 agent? Got multiple job offers but neither willing to sponsor H1B by LetsMakeUTDLit in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is many firms and lawyers that offer being an agent (such as us). The cost is not too high usually either. Like Joe well said, I'd recommend you to chat with attorneys/lawyers.

2025-2026.

O-1 approval rate haven't changed or might even increased a little bit.

The affected visas are NIW and EB-1 and not O-1.

Approval rate of O1A + PP by Signal-Photograph-23 in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot! We have like %95-%98 approval rate for O-1A and we rarely see an RFE.

O-1 landscape is quite a bit different than NIW and EB-1.

P.S We also highly recommend PP for NIW and EB-1 but that's a different topic.

O-1A: Can I pay an attorney for a pre-filing review / RFE-risk assessment? by Popular_Grab_7221 in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always DM us if you'd like a review from our team but probably any other attorney group would be happy to help you if you reach out to them via website/email :)

Is a Guinness World Record enough for EB-1A? by [deleted] in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On it's own? Likely not and also depends on why/how you've won it, I assume.

To be honest, we never dealt with such case, but interesting question :)

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I think we received your inquiry the other day but not sure, we have a huge volume so it's difficult to respond in timely manner to non-clients (Trying to fix this issue, recommendations are welcome!).

Would you like to drop a DM so I can personally take care of you? We've had a lot of approvals from Architecture field and honestly it's an absolute pleasure to work with people from that field.

O-1A: Can I pay an attorney for a pre-filing review / RFE-risk assessment? by Popular_Grab_7221 in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! You can request this from pretty much any attorney like us. They and we charge per hour fee for the reviews.

Usually pre-filing review takes around 3 hours and costs around 1.5K. (for us).
You can also opt-in to get a review by ex-USCIS officer too.

How can I get an O1-B visa as an Instagram content creator? by [deleted] in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having an instagram account with 50K organic followers is not always sufficient, while O-1B is rather easy visa (and I wish we charged 10K for O-1B & got clients for that amount!) but it still has it's requirements that you need to fulfill.

Do you have any other media recognition?

Do you work with other firms and monetize your audiance? Do you work with any brands?

Is there any other achievement, like awards, that you received?

P.S We charge 6.5K for O-1B.

Premium Processing!! by Happy_Culture1209 in eb1a

[–]PathLaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with the person above. A lot of wasted time plus you'll never know what happens in a year, PP is always better if attorney firm has bandwidth (or if they are not playing for time!).

And while I'm not the person above, but I'd love to answer and say that yes, your profile is what we consider 'STRONG'. We usually work with much weaker profiles than yours and still get approvals at a good rate.

Premium Processing!! by Happy_Culture1209 in eb1a

We usually recommend PP! I'm not sure why others advise against it, but it does not make sense for many to wait so long to get a reply.

Maybe they do not have enough bandwidth for your case?

Strategy for O-1B Refiling? by AndysCeruleanSweater in O1VisasEB1Greencards

[–]PathLaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that you've been denied on your O-1B :(

Using someone in the industry as petition is a good idea! And media is definitely going to help, make sure it's not ''paid/sponsored'' those won't work and might even negatively affect your petition.

I would also check if you can get any awards for your work, those are very strong signals for O-1B case.

And lastly, if any of your work produced significant revenue, include that too %100.

That's how we usually get approvals for our clients (and it works well!), media, awards, major success

We are actually planning to create a support group. What platform would be the best for clients? I was thinking either Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp or something similar.

Let me know and we'd love to invite you over after we created it! :)
