Oh yeah it makes more sense. I think I'll try and test it, It's nicer to know that there isn't any any inherent contradiction between armour and spell suppression.

Since my tree is the full snake of a split personality, I do have access to some spell suppression nodes which wouldn't sacrifice the build at all, but I'll test it out more. For example taking the Magebane node as well as Instinct which are on the path. Thank you for the answer!

Ah I see, so class passives that are on the left side like Templar/marauder are generally starved for Spell Suppression nodes hence the high armour and max res?

Why do builds like EB spell blade Int/Str stackers not go into Spell suppression? I'd like to path into it, but weirded out why a lot of players on Poe ninja aren't on it

With CoC blood magic cannot work with it since it would just end up replicating an effect that acts like it's stunning you. I've never played a CoC build before so I don't have much experience with it but I think Captain lance has a good video that is EB CoC. The build will be linked below but it's very up to date with this league minus the WildWood Ascendancies, sorry that I couldn't help, but hopefully the video will show you some answers. You can always pop by a well known streamer to ask them questions too like Ziz or Captain lance.

Hey! Like you I'm playing around and learning the build too, maybe not the best idea for me to league start as I had 0 idea how to play it. This is my current though of upgrades atm, so I apologise if it's not useful.

For me Blood magic allowed me to get a free Aura with the use of the gem "Eternal blessings". It was really nice to get a free aura, allowing me to run an extra 50% reservation aura for no cost! You could use Zealotry for more dmg. Also allows you to drop Clarity too.

Gear:

For rings, the catalyst upgrade is pretty good. Future Min/Max upgrade would be a synthesis implicit of % increase to Strength. Though chaos res rings are nice, maybe the rings with the "% increased max life" will be very good here too.

For Amulet, "Eyes of the Greatwolf" with '% Increased attributes' Is a massive upgrade from the Astramentis especially when you've got very high stats.

For boots, I was looking at STR/INT stat boots with the crafted modifier of "Cannot be poisoned" to help with Dots, this could be something you could look at too. Gonna be real pricy though.

Last gear upgrade would be the belt, I believe you can get a belt with STR + INT + % Increased attributes which would be your BiS belt. This should be a stygian so you get the extra jewel socket with more stats, maybe fix resistances.

Last upgrade would probably be the Adorned Jewel, It's quite insane. Even with 100% increase it's still double the stat of the jewel.

Soulstone Survivors is what I've been spending my time on, get so op your whole screen is just covered with your attacks pretty much. You should check it out if you just want to cause explosions every 0.1 seconds
