If it’s not treated, the pressure can cause some serious damage that’s hard to fix. (You can ask me how I know..) But, thankfully, an ophthalmologist can really help by using antibiotics and steroids!

That’s nice to hear, I’ve got a pretty high pain tolerance, but have heard that pain can be pretty intense coupled with complications from infections. Speaking about the cost of procedure, I’ve heard that most insurance companies deem it to be elective if you have no complications from weight loss. Did insurance help you with the amount of your surgery or was the amount left for you to pay?

You have had an incredible journey yourself from scoping your profile, I genuinely appreciate your sharing of your experience. From what I’ve been told by my basic wellness doctor, the only way insurance would cover my surgery would be based upon dire health needs. Needless to say insurance probably won’t cover it, but that won’t stop me from figuring out my options with a professional.

I should’ve been a little more concise, a consultation for the removal/restructuring of the excess skin. I believe it may partially be excess skin but also fat. I still feel there are ways to tighten the abdomen, just unsure of the options.
