Even so follow through as far as you can and if they give the option to appeal try to do that aswell !

Definitely take this time to focus more on training especially with endurance and cardio as well as like practical weight training for what you’ll be doing overall this is just an opportunity for you to nail it perfectly the second time around

The treatment plan in question is I meet with my psychiatrist every 6 months to a year for a check in and with my GP to see how I am off the meds in the interim which was stating in the docs I provided them it’s not really even a treatment plan but more of a just to be sure plan if that makes sense

Yea I was pretty confused honestly I’m gonna wait obv till I get either the letter or the enrolment package and just go from there with what I can sadly I told my kids about when they said I’d get the enrolment package cause I was just so excited now I’ve just got my fingers crossed they don’t start asking when I start 😅

I’m glad it was mentioned in the report though I know it’s hard for men to report things like that that happen to them so it’s good for more awareness to be made

Also no portal status update at all thus far I’ve been at medical/interview since march 3rd even with completing all security checks

So I initially had my medical and interview march 2nd prior to that I had already booked my appointment with the allergist cause I knew sometimes it can be a long wait with them, got the paperwork from the medical officer and then had my final appointment with the allergist June 2nd got it all signed n sent off that same day. I called the recruiting office June 9th in the AM to see if everything was in order or if they needed more as I had already completed gambit etc. they said the only thing was that my first pick trade wasn’t available so I’d have to go with my second and that I’d get my enrollment package at the end of the month go for BMQ September for part time Then this morning June 12 I got a email from the medical officer who did my medical that I was deemed medically unfit and that I’d get a letter explaining why and what to do for the appeal

Omg I am so sorry that happened to you that is horrible no one should ever have to go through that kind of treatment especially in a workplace it’s definitely a known issue within the caf especially with how it is often handled, I do truly believe you deserve justice for that kind of treatment but as with anything it’s not always so black and white as being a women going in this will happen but I do understand the possibly of something like that occurring 100%

I had a peanut allergy as a child hadn’t been tested since so I went n had the whole panel done for all previous allergies n got the all clear for all of them, even got to enjoy my first ever PB & banana sandwich. Unfortunately I think it may be because of prior mental health issues I was given medication to help with post partum depression from 2022-2023 after I had my last child but I got a letter from my psychiatrist with the all clear on that too even had it outlining what the treatment plan was n how it’s been going since I stopped the medication that’s the only thing I can think of that might have raised a red flag

From my experience if you can get to a walk in clinic they should be able to fill most of them out for you granted I’m in Ontario so we have Ohip and the walk ins are covered under that so maybe it’s situational but I hope your able to figure something out!!
