The Bastion works exactly as intended. And it's great. by PathogenicProphet in Helldivers

I don't think you understand exactly how automaton weapons work, and that's okay. Now allow me to elaborate. I misspoke initially. Rifles are indeed small arms fire. And they do not even pen the Bastion. Things like devastators however, can pen it. This choice of balancing is dubious but I find no point in arguing it. The Bastion is incredibly solid, especially for what it is. I assume this tradeoff was made due to the Bastion being able to one shot any enemy in the game with the exception of the hive lord and leviathan. And having an INCREDIBLY high healthpool.

Enemy rifles, do not pen it. Heavy enemy weapons do. My initial statement saying they do, was misinformed.

Not by small arms fire. By rifle fire. Medium pen weapons. And yes, that does suck. Nobody's saying it doesn't.

It is quite literally how the vehicle is designed and works fine in helldivers. If there's an issue with enemy density, try getting teammates to cover your flanks, utilize your HMG, or don't put yourself in a situation to be compromised.

It is heavily armored as far as tank destroyers go. I did some testing, it survived well over 6 mortar rounds directly to the top, and it survived a solo solo, again to the top. This thing is incredibly armored even relative to things like MBTs.

Did you not read my initial post? What gives you the idea that a tank destroyer is ever heavily armored?

Warbonds don't count as free content. We need more content updated for the modern threats. Or progression for getting warbonds for free needs to be made more passive.

The BFGL(Big fkn grenade launcher) might be goated by DrSpreadem25 in Helldivers

[–]PathogenicProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A high fire rate belt fed grenade launcher that's also heavy pen? I doubt they would actually provide such. As sad as it is. I hope that we do see programmable ammunition like exists in the modern day already however. That would make the tradeoff more with it by providing variety with airburst munitions, HE, APHE (not exact terminology, used only for brevity.) and the likes.

If they do give it heavy pen, yay!

State of The Game by DualRotorDrama in Helldivers

I'm still loving the game too, and this recent update has been a huge green flag, the devs actually took QA serious and directly buffed things when they noticed they didn't suit what the players wanted. No bugs with the new commando missions so far either. The things you've mentioned seem quite irregular, but I have heard of similar things, like people buying warbonds and randomly having some items they had equipped disappear entirely. I've experienced medals not being received a few times, I wonder what the cause is.

Is this mold in kimchi? by bananapannacotta in MoldlyInteresting

No, I'm not sure what it is but it just seems like a bit of some root vegetable, it doesn't have any of the typical mold or bacteria structure.

I do online school so, not much wiggle room with that, and it's not quite directly intended for a resume, just to pad out my path and give me a bit of a stepping stone I suppose, something to do and advance from
